What a hardass. I cant believe he's my most wanted MP, and I'll be waiting on run deux.

Just don't talk to me all you lucky m*therf*ckers that have him. Okay? Well, be civil and talk, but just know that you're on code green jolly green giant jealousy footing with me. 'Kay? o_O

In fact, I'm switching to green now, which you can take as somewhere beyond the maginot line from "joking" to "not joking."

    You bastards. :D

LOL! Browsing these forums can be expensive. If you haven't checked out the G-Creations M Wrath thread, there are a lot of nice pictures posted there to tide you over until you receive it.

I did the same thing and I am calling on Monday because I also got notice and paid for Thomas and the last two Junkions but never got my Paypal invoices. I just paid for all three like you. I try not to contact them because they are always great but I am a bit confused.

Is there a scale chart that shows him bigger? He's actually about 5-10% too big as is. He should be Seeker height according to scale charts and most animation scenes. I think the reason he's as big as he is is because other Blitzwings were made too big...

well, pics like this make me feel a little better for missing out on the preorders... a little.

This does look good, it’s just that in my mind, astrotrain should be slightly taller than the higher ranking Decepticons.

Oh well, as I go off to sulk, I’ll be fiddling with the versions of astrotrain that I picked up this week...

I think you answered your own question. There is a scale chart, and he's roughly Seeker-sized. Thomas should actually be a little shorter.

Yep. Second line from the bottom, far right.

Any chance to see the bots displayed in that cabinet behind you @Zagginhoof? Looks like a great display.

And what Devvy is that? Looks awesome.

ok, took me a few hours, wanted to take it really slow and enjoy the process, and got it from Bot mode to Shuttle mode. Followed the instructions (instead of starting with videos to better enjoy the discovery part) until the legs where i blocked at the ratchets, but with the video i was able to finally get over that part. Also, took some time to figure out the mechanism of the back of the shuttle mode.

Anyways, i kinda like the shuttle mode when not looking at the bottom of it.

I have previously posted the following on 2 areas people have had problems with.

    Shuttle rocket section-

The trouble here is that the tab holes (for 2 big tabs on the underside of the rocket section) are part of the arm assemblies (1 in each arm right above where the chest is) and change size depending on how far the arms are rotated up/together on the transformation shoulder rotation joints - rotate too far up/together and the tab holes become too small.

You need to keep the arms rotated out at this joint as far as they can before either 1) the grey shoulder slider becomes interfered with (you dont want it pushing hard into the top of the chest part) or 2) the arms at the robot shoulders stop the rocket section from moving downwards over them - this is what limits me and i arrange it so the shuttle rocket section doesnt quite scrape on the shoulders as it goes over the top of the shoulders.

It also helps to align the shuttle rocket section perfectly with the top of the robot chest section and push down right where the 2 big tabs are on the underside. If everything is aligned it will just slot in with a click. You can then clip it to the arms afterwards.

Chest sections on screws acting as sliders-

I find just jiggling the sliders a bit works.
There is one key point to this mechanism - the chest pieces must be in the forward position to get over the belly or it will stress (the sliders wont always work freely to do this for you), but must be all the way back to tab in (you can see when it lines up) - and when going back to robot you must just untab but move no further outwards before jiggling the sliders to slide the chest pieces forward.

This was the order i did it in.
    From robot
    1. Unclipped fom chest.
    2. Lowered down with chest piece forward on slider. (At this point you have to do the inner chest sliding up part).
    3. Moved most of way into position in the belly (but not even attempting to tab in) with it still forward on slider.
    4. Jiggled it on the slider until it slides all the way back and the tab on the lower side of the chest piece lines up naturally with the hole - when lined up the slider is all the way back. Nb dont twist as there is also a tab up higher that needs to go in.
    5. Tab in.

    From alt.
    1. Unclipped using spludger gently - you want it just to unclip at the tab lower down on the side.
    2. Jiggle until it slides forward on slider.
    3. Move out from the belly and making sure it stays forward on the slider move all the way up and tab into chest (once you have done the sliding of the inner chest of course.

The upper knee ratchets wont allow you to line the legs up perfectly with one another. On my copy his left leg will not straighten - the knee will always be bent slightly fwds or backwards. The ankle tilt will still allow him to stand perfectly well tho, just the legs will not align.

I just checked the knees on mine, and I have two right knee joints. The right leg lines up correct, but the left doesn't. Does anyone have two left knee joints, and want to trade?

First impression- Thomas is amazing! So far no issues found. Had to rush the opening but hopefully I’ll get some time tonight to mess with him some more.

Thanks, it’s the Toyworld “perfect” edition. The display is still a work in progress.
