I wanted to give you a like so bad, but the no yf19 just couldn't let me do it.

also still no TF character has been shown to me with a clean altmode and no robo kibble. My point still stands.

 

Some kind of "transforming face plate" just like the one on movie Optimus Prime would be glorious!

 

If I recall, the OSKO of CW Superion did have that feature with the face plate change. So yeah, it will be nice if this Superion has that or a simple plug on faceplate.

 

As a huge Superion fan, this is one of most beautiful Stylized Superion I've ever seen!! Love it all around for the combined, individual, and alt.mode.

 

Colours will really make or break this thing. I am almost all in for the design; just need to see the colours before committing. Main thing for me is that they get the torso right - red chest, white abs. Someone did a digibash which was nice, but all wrong.

Not really. You have been shown a bunch of transforming jet robots with no kibble.

A kibble free transfoming jet can absolutely be done. The brand of the robots only matters if you want to argue that HasTak leaving kibble chunks under their jet transformers is an intentional design feature on their part. Your point has been blown out of the water.

 

Matters because the Robot design dictates what it can turn into and what the limits are. Those robots most likely started from the jet mode and worked they way up to a robot. I can make a similar case for car formers having robot under them. "wah why do car formers have kibble under there when those RC Transforming cars from an obscure company don't have kibble under the car despite having "robot modes". "

There you go, finally an actual TF character. Has the arms under the wings but yeah, that's a pretty dam clean jet mode. Guess Powerglide shows some planes can be done, but I will still maintain that some planes are much harder to pull off, especially with what the robot designs are.

 

Different characters simply have an easier time being made into good figures.

 

OM Volatus and Impetus have zero kibble in alt mode. XTB Eligos have a very clean jet mode too.

 

Kind of? If you're sticking really close to the G1 forms, then yeah, some bots are basically impossible. But if you're changing up the alt mode and/or some of the bot mode structure/details, then they can all work. It's part of the reason I've really wanted a more Cybertronian/Sci-Fi style set of Aerialbots. There'd be more room to make all the modes look great.

This set looks like it gets impressively close, with the limb bot's alt modes featuring little kibble and [more-or-less] small compromises to the jets. It's just that the Concord is both hard to do, and would likely be insanely expensive at "true" scale with the other's alt modes.

see I think that the colours still look too busy. Given the level of moulded detail, the colours need to be even simpler.
