oh? So that's how it's written. And it's a vegetable? I heard people say that in US series every now and then and idly wondered what it was, but didn't care enough to look it up.

 

Looks awesome, although shame the chest windows don't seem like they'll be transparent.

After comparing the 1st post render and the con pic, it's definitely been refined and there's more elements that confirm the transformation - the main one being the hinges on the sides of the kneecaps/parts covering the knees.

 

Also alt-mode!

Apparently it’s a hybrid of turnip and cabbage. Not on my list of preferred veggies for sure, but who knows? Might actually be good.

So the characters done by these guys are only like 6" tall.

 

If only there were any hope of this guy's alt mode looking good.

 

My guess is that it'll transform into something like this, with the arms folding behind the torso and the legs unfolding and wrapping around the arms, while the chest is at the front

 

Is that true. I wasn't hoping for MP scale, but MMC/Voyager would have been good, as I think this makes for a pretty good IDW Ironhide. 6" is too small for that, though.
