I really hope it's MP-52, otherwise I have a ton of files to rename. Like others have said, it sounds like a Hound reissue is coming, I think that could fill the time gap.

True, I liked the Hound release, but a) I have Willis and b) the plastic issue put me off.

I'd get him if his quality was tightened and the price was under £100.

No way am I paying £139 for a carbot (his U.K. retail price last year) when I got Prowl, Wheeljack et al for £60 each.

Well they're calling him at 52, looks like details are still missing like what he comes with, the just provided the price and release date for their POS. Their preorders close the 10th which I guess means Takara will officially announce him by then.

Kind of pleased with the price I was thinking $220-235 but its' actually cheaper than their competition.

Crazy is saying Hound is anything like Prowl and Wheeljack  its like PS1 versus PS4

 

... if your PS4 crumbled, but your PS1 was still perfectly intact 10 years on. 

 

ps1 looks intact but you have to turn it upside down for it to work or wedge the lid open

Yup. That’s without a doubt the Starscream that I’ve always remembered. It will also be my LAST starscream I buy lol. Don’t mind the wait as I just got my new place so money is being funded else where for the time being . But yes , 100% preordered .

Man, they nailed the off white/grey! The lack of the red stripes on the tail fins is surprising, but after looking at a bunch of stills from the show it's definitely cartoon accurate (I need to get back to replaying it again in my office). It's much like Prime's silver/grey cab stripe, something that only popped up a few times in the animation but was always present in the toys. So I'm definitely digging it. Best get used to it because we can expect the same with the other two Jet Bros (unless there are toy + editions, of course).

 

The price with a 30% preorder discount is good, very unexpected in these times.

The upgrade is lightyears apart... finally, paint instead of Happy meal toy swirly plastic x glaring silver face.

Look at the size of the canopy on MP-11. Then, understand that the canopy on MP-52 is small enough to fit inside the fake canopy. Wild.

 

I look forward to the day skywarp is announced with purple tailfins cause that’s something almost no one (including myself) noticed, but was almost always colored that way in the toon.

 

I'm still pissed MP-44 didn't get individually articulated fingers, but this guy does.
