Well uh... Shit. Can't get this step of the transformation to work. And I think I figured out why? I think the circled part is bowed out ever so slightly from a barely off pin... Don't know what to do about that. But the part attached to the heads just will not go over it at all. Edit: Added another image where you can see there's just no way it can sit inside there... Really don't want to do a return to Japan right now. AmiAmi only ships back exchanges SAL in my experience, which just isn't an option right now, so they might not even offer an exchange. And it seems like such a small thing.. but I don't know what to do here.
Note that the first time is really tight. (Hm...) The reason is that they painted the inside of that white hinge when the tolerances don't account for that extra layer of paint. Scratching off that layer of paint is inevitable, but ultimately inconsequential.
That's what I had hoped it would be, but against better judgment have tried using considerable force and it will not budge. The gap visible here is what led me to conclude it's more than just the paint. It looks too like I'm starting to dent the plastic on that green part, not just scraping paint, by trying to fold it into the white part.
Yeah, I think you can shop it anyway you want if its insured. DHL is more a convenience thing as it lessens the time for your refund. It might have been 2 weeks using USPS before they credited my shipping.

Has anyone found any good weapon storage in robot mode? The best I could find was to peg the gun into his butt pointing downward, but it looks... awkward from the front.
I'm doing some metal calculations thanks to this pic. That's six figures. We'll end up with seven on each team... For the Maximals, Rhinox where Megs is. Blackarachnia replaced with Airazor on a flight stand and Rattrap squeezed in somewhere. That should work.

I tried and have been unsuccessful. Although it's possible I was trying to remove it the wrong direction... So decided I'm just going to order another from Amazon Japan and return this one since doing returns with them will be much simpler. At least I've got some practice with the rest of the transformation now haha. And will just enjoy him in beast mode until the other one arrives.
Mine came in today, it was much better than I expected, which I thought originally just a OS Cheetor, but Tigertron did his own thing with the transformation, so glad the beast mode head remains the chest piece so the whiskers don't get bent like Cheetor.
I cannot for the life of me find it now, but I swear there was an official promo shot of him doing his iconic stance from The Trigger (Part 2) that accompanied his "The lady shall ride a tiger" line. Could be a hint towards Airazor in the near future. Or perhaps I imagined it and I've finally gone mad.
Not that the tech specs really reflect how the character are portrayed in the show anyway but with an intelligence score of 3 Tigatron may be the dumbest MP yet haha.
