Crazy Devy are garbage. Shame on them for their prices, their products, and even existing as a company.

    They suck all the @$$.

Crazy Devy is awful stuff. Purchased one kit from them on sale and was complete junk.

You do have to admit, it's a damn ballsy move (pun not intended) to sell what is almost certainly an inferior product for twice the price as a set that includes both of those pieces and more to bulk up the combined mode.

    Stupid, but ballsy.

I got skipjack today, and I can officially say that I prefer him over rampage. Yellow just works better. Sorry rampage.

Thank you for posting that link!!! I already pre-ordered it, it's exactly what I was hoping a 3P could release sooner or later. My Overload arrives tomorrow, BTW!

Plus having the correct belly piece orientation is nice.

I finally got him. No chance to transform yet. If I read these threads correctly I should slightly unscrew his butt plate to help the ratchet joints?

JESUS! Is EVERYTHING just too tight on Overload? The plug off his back pulled out leaving 90% of the silver paint in the whole, and the side wheels that flop down already have stress marks at their joint.

I already combined and formed Devastator yesterday (finally,) and I thought I was gonna leave him in a 4-legged pose... but it actually looks great standing up. It looks very different than the marketing pics and most reviews depict. It's very bulky and cool. Love it! The DK-20 upgrade kit will be the cherry on top of the ice cream.

I decided to keep this big SOB. For some reason I have an attachment to ROTF. The DNA upgrade kit looks great for this ugly bastard.

Is it just me or is skipjack way tighter than rampage? I know figures get loose over time, but still. I’m not complaining.

Skipjack is. His combiner connector, though, is looser compared to Rampage’s connector, which is good.

Yeah that’s not true on mine. Just as tight. Does that mean it’ll snap?

I....can't explain it either. I know it's a bad movie, but something about the insane and wild designs and creativity of everything, plus the fact that I actually had a fun time watching it in the theater the first time makes me look on the movie with fondness. I haven't actually watched the movie in like 6 or 7 years I think.

    i also like rotf.

i would even say it is the most enjoyable movie of the bay films. yep i said it.

the designs are actually cool looking and made it so that the brief screentime of said robots where noteworthy.
those designs also made for the best movie toy line we got untill studio series came around.

i will always remember that movie and toyline fondly.

sure it has bad acting and the human characters where less than funny in a lot of cases but i will always prefer sam over cade any day. atleast sam had SOMETHING more to his character instead of always being a depressed texan that was cade.

I think its just the time in my life when it came out. I was 9/10, mom lost her job in 08, lost our house, dad lost most of his work (self employed/musician). Things were pretty rough. I literally saved up every coin I could find and recycled bottles to get a deluxe class Skids figure. I was blown away when SS devy was announced. My mom actually worked for the dubbing company that handled ROTF and Star Wars the Clone Wars for a bit as an executive assistant or something like that.

I rewatched all the films last year and the first 3 again a few months ago. Not gonna lie, I skip through most of the human scenes in the 07 film, but they're all decent films, with 3 being my favorite.

Actually, after I saw "the prime cut" fan edit AOE might be my favorite. It cuts out like 25 minutes of bullshit and reorders some scenes and it's so enjoyable to watch! But you're making me think I really need to watch rotf again.
That's a cool story bro (not in the sarcastic meme way!). I'm glad you're in a better place in life! I don't even know which of the films is my favorite anymore.
