I wonder if any joint were modified to do this? Seems pretty awesome and I kinda think not which makes the figures even more impressive if that's the case.

Man, I haven't seen Wave 1 around me. Honestly, I don't even care about the figures. I just want the mini castles. Probably resort to hunting a few down on eBay soon.

    I don’t think they’re modified, I don’t see anything the figure can’t do.

I saw wave 1 but passed up. Now I wish I have not I could have used some Slime Pit He-Men to troop build for the upcoming Hordak.

Bit the bullet and ordered a he-man, skeleton and battle cat. That’ll probably do me.

Yeah, me, too, turning 41 next month. :(

Availabilty of the Origins and the WWE Masters is still weird here, normal retail stores have almost nothing from Origins and the WWE Masters are only available at online stores. Distribution is completly different.

I don't think it helps that Mattel made a odd exclusive/ early release deal here in the US. I really do sympathize with y'all out side the US you miss out on so much stuff we get here, but on the other hand lots of cool stuff, like Laser Light He-Man and Laser Power Skeletor, ends up only in Europe for some reason.

Yeah, I caved. I'll be real selective on this line and try to stick with 82-85'. If Masterverse is better, I'll sell what Origins figures I emass and jump in on MV.

My main gripe so far, and I know I'm only one figure in, is the size. I know it's the 5" toy size per the original line, but it just looks a tad out of place in a modern 12th scale, multi-line collection.

I've never been an articulation junkie, so these origins figures are fine for me in that department. Anyway, they're fine and I'm looking forward to grapping a few more of these guys.

I'll be 40 in January. Its really strange to look in MOTU history and see that the franchise is actually older that me. However it is the earliest toy line I remember playing with.
