To be honest, getting it a month earlier than Pulse, Target, and Walmart is a bit tempting.

 

Or they cancel it like they did with retro spiderman or delay it by 2 months like artic storm shadow

It was announced during the original Walmart offering. Sure they didn't re-up that info, but anyone that interested would remember.

 

I don’t know anything about that. If by some miracle I can find Gigawatt sitting in actual stores later this year, I will cancel my online order.

The dark plastic was one of the things that changed my mind too.

 

Dammit, totally forgot it would be on October 1 when he would go up for preorder. Luckily my USA based friend preordered enough for all of us outside the country. Do wish Hasbro sent an email notification on these maybe a day before the preorders are up?

Huh, that's true. He went back in stock a month ago or so, and despite only getting 1500 up for preorder he is STILL in stock with 600 left. Odd. Guess everyone who wanted one already got it? I think he was also in some actual stores, no?

 

I might keep the Pulse order. With luck, Pulse purchases will count towards the new Premium system they're rolling out.

 

And of course it's sold out. I'm not paying scalpers prices, Hasbro really needs to be their act together.

 

Yeah, you can see Shopify's name right there in the code, it's nuts. I cannot imagine what they're paying them for this to still be so clunky almost 2 years after launch, they are STILL trying to get the order detail names on the main orders page.

 

That warrant a 50$ tag though? It's 30 on Pulse...

 

I'm not a combative guy by nature, but I don't understand any of the griping. Gigawatt is still up places. He was up forever in internet time (2 hours or more might as well be a year). He has every accessory everyone wanted. They even changed the windshield. I'm trying to figure out exactly what they could have done better at this point.

There are probably a few wouldn’t mind about that price tag. It can be tempting for those want to have Gigawatt before the end of this year.

 

Their name should be in there because you don't so much buy a copy of Shopify as you reskin their templates.

It does some downright weird things. Back when they launched, I bought 2 each of 3 Siege deluxes on sale for $10. Pulse shipped 3 boxes of 2 toys, grouped by character. Alright. So then this year I ordered 2 Mysterios. And they divided that into 2 orders, each shipped separately. Must be getting a killer deal on shipping to be able to afford to ship so many separate boxes for free.

But it's really all of them...BigCommerce, Volusion, StorEnvy, etc...that are weird in different ways.

 

Weren't there still people complaining that the body isn't painted?
