I recommend you to wait for an Optimus 2.0 Jinbao. The mold of HS02 is too old.

Not anymore, sorry!. Sold it year ago. HS02 had some weird sculpt that I never liked. Actually I prefer Optimus Jinbao.

 

Already I'll have my Hot Soldiers Optimus Prime, so I can't wait because that will come to me, but by the way When will Optimus Prime jinbao 2.0 come out?

 

Well, probably they will OSKO the next Optimus from NewAge, I think this will happen at the end of the next year.

 

By the way, did someone get his Optimus Prime HS, 12.5 cm? Because I know it measures 12 cm, right?

 

I know I'm really late to the party. But I just recently got this figure from BBTS since they had him on sale recently for $42 plus $4 shipping. Amd I have to say, I really enjoy him so far. His articulation is a little limited compared to some versions, but he looks great and is fun to transform and mess with.

I actually enjoy him more than the New Age and Magic Square versions. And he looks great with other Hot Soldiers figures and with Jinbao Megatron. Still trying to decide if I prefer him or Jinbao Optimus.

 

I actually went ahead and swiped up the Nemesis Prime version on BBTS after seeing this post! $34 for Nemesis is a very hard price to argue with in general, but especially when it's a US-based shop.

Also, I do find it funny that one of the first attempts at a Legends Optimus Prime is the only one that's actually included the command consoles in the trailer. They're basically useless at this scale, but it helps the trailer feel a bit less barren in "base" mode.

 

Glad to see it’s still getting new fans! I have all of the legends sized Primes and this one and DX9 Dutch (& the oversized version) are still my favorites. I feel like they strike the perfect balance between looks and simplicity of design. More intricate designs like MS and NA look great but I find no joy in their transformations. This guy and Dutch are just straight up fun to grab and quickly convert.
