I have MPM Ratchet inbound from Target. Should get here on Thursday based on Fedex tracking coming from TX. Will see if they have gained understanding of the concept of internal packing materials or if it will be the standard three box sizes to large and no packing. So far none have hit shelves in NoVA but shelve tags are present.

 

I’m just curious to see what hits first around here: wave 2 deluxes or my Pulse Alicon order that is supposed to ship on the 17.

Monday, 28 September: Fortuna Center Plaza Target (Dumfries) had one MPM Starscream at full price, an Earthrise Prime, SS Shatter, SS Mixmaster, SS Scrapper, and a bunch of Grapples and Ironworkses.

 

Ratchet is available in the Dumfries, Woodbridge, and Burke Target stores. They are register locked to not be sold till after 9:00pm today. The Dumfries store is less one as it was an exchange for the one I got from Target.com this morning; the box was less than stellar with a big gash in the back of it (the figure was damaged). It is already on its way back to Target in TX. They wanted it back to see the damage. On a side note it was properly packed with packing pillows and the shipping box was perfect.

Wave 2 deluxes were in stock on walmart.com for a bit, any sign of them in stores here?

 

Ok sorry for double posting, but the Walmart website says Smokescreen is In stock at the brook rd and parham walmarts, but calling them is proving to be... useless at actually finding anything.

Can anyone confirm?

 

Not at Parham. Unless by “Smokescreen” you mean “Chromia and 35th Bluestreak”.

They did have two boxes of these (4 total):

 

Am at Chantilly WM (I think...Lol...). Anyway, they have SS Cliffjumper, ML Piratepool, Cobra Commander and Gung-Ho. No MOTU at all, that I can see.

 

Walmart Tysons West has 2 Netflix Mirages and 2 Cobra Commanders (I have no idea which GIJoe figures are in high demand, lol).

 

The walmart at Lynhaven and Princess anne in VA Beach had 2 HISS Tanks... now they have one.

 

The MOTU display was at the opening of the action figure aisle two days ago. And the PiratePool figure is missing all of its accessories.

 

Hopefully I didn’t miss the MOTU display. I looked in the main aisle and on the endcaps and didn’t see anything. I also checked local MOTU stock via brickseek a little bit ago and it didn’t turn up anything. Oh well. We all might be drowning in MOTU before we know it. Thanks for the heads up on PiratePool! I didn’t take a close enough look to notice the missing accessories.

 

Yep I’m at the Chantilly Walmart right now and there isn’t a single MOTU display or figure anywhere. Nor does it look like there ever was one. Are we sure we are talking about the same Walmart?
It must be....I just talked to two stock workers who said they never had a display in the store.

Went to the Dulles Landing Walmart and while they don’t have the end cap display they do have tons of He-man and Skeletor figures as well as 3 Man-at-Arms. No other characters though.

I got a notification from Amazon yesterday that my Earthrise Paradron Medics 2-pack of Ratchet and Lifeline is arriving tomorrow!
Looks like they moved the release date up.
