Ugh, saw it too late to buy from Pulse. Got it on both Amazon and Wal-Mart, with the latter being cheaper even with full shipping, but im hoping the Amazon price drops to 29.99 and I can cancel my Wal-Mart order before they do it themselves.

60CAD is over 40USD but when you factor how much Pulse pounds you on shipping to Canada it's worth it in the end, unless a Canadian retailer actually gets it.

True, but I'm paying 130$ CAD for two from Pulse. I ordered a single one from Amazon in case the price drops, and it came up to 69$. Buying two from Amazon would actually have been more exepensive.

Got an amazon one, not sure why it's $50 when pulse is $30, but it might adjust before release.

 

So I'm guessing the Amazon version comes with genuine plutonium fuel?

 

Plus no customs and free shipping from Amazon.ca... EB Games will probably still be the best option though if they get it.

Welp, I'll take that $20 markup on Amazon thank you very much...better than eBay scalper prices any day. Free shipping kind of makes up for it vs Target or Walmart I guess.

I know people live in different time zones, and it may be difficult waking up early to get this. I also understand people aren’t able to get onto the site when it launches, but honestly... this was one of the smoothest transactions hasbro has done. It more than makes up for the crap show at Walmart in July. It was up for at least an hour and a half, which is MAGICAL considering how quickly things can go. We also DID get notified of when the pre order would go up. We all knew back in July that it would be on their site October 1st. That was in the statement... I don’t know, I’m sorry if you missed out, but you did have a chance.

 

Considering how Amazon ships my stuff (angry gorilla) and the way Target has been shipping my Pops! (stork with velvet wings) I went with Target.

 

Thanks for posting that. So I've ordered at Amazon, Walmart, and now Gamestop. I don't expect Walmart to keep my order, but I hope Amazon drops their price and honors the 29.99 preorder price guarantee. Gamestop order is in case Amazon doesn't drop their price. Still, 3 months out from these shipping anyway, for now...

FWIW, I contacted Amazon over chat, and they said that if the preorder price doesn't decrease by the time it ships (and my card gets charged), they will issue me a promo certificate of $20 to cover the difference. I simply referred them to the 3 other retailers (Gamestop, Target, Walmart) with lower price. I think it helped that I've been a Prime member for several years, but maybe that doesn't matter. Worth a shot!
