I believe they were supposed to actually appear in Masterforce and serve as transportation for the main cast but for whatever reason that never happened

I am concerned about this ever coming out, there were rumors of TT having a Raiden in the works and it was sponsored by some japanese train company. If they were going to ever fight over a produce, it would be a sponsored one.

Oh TT, forever behind. I feel like these 3rd party companies have an inside line to what's going on at TT and beat them to it first all the time. lol

While Takara is talking about him, the newcomers third-parties are already doing everything in practice.

I was never that much of a fan of Headmasters but for an MP Raiden I'll make an exception. Will wait for the metallic box set

I'm sure the limbs can be mirrored, no reason they shouldn't be, they were on the original.

Didn't Takara state that they were going to produce Radian for their first MP combiner?

I normally wouldnt go for MP but I'm down for a Raiden anytime.

 

I must admit, for the first time ever I am tentatively impressed by a zeta product. Looks VERY cartoon accurate, with a little dash of real world detailing.

 

I would ABSOLUTELY buy this. I want this lightweight more than Defensor. (I'd get both though, since I have 3 'con combiners)

I know it's a weird thing to focus on, but the hands in those grey protos definitely look like Zeta hands. Given the 6 bot formation it's probably full combiner as well, although I'm sure sure about the feet, that does look like it could be two trains in a pair of odd shoes. Either way I am absolutely all in on this, inject it directly into my veins.
