It's true - we all took the risk trying to order a bunch of toys from China at the same time during all this mess :lol  At least they're looking into it, and given everything else going on with the USPS right now, I completely believe that they don't have enough trucks to try and deal with a bunch of shit getting released from customs while they're still struggling to handle even domestic shipments.

Exactly. No one could've predicted the pandemic and the f**ked up situation USPS is currently in right now. I received a small package from @bababobo00712 and came in no time. Granted it was a small item and not a big item like MP-44. As I said, it's frustrating no question, but at least, a majority of our MP-44s are stateside.

I’m so sick and tired of all this drama going on. I’m specially pissed that people who bought this weeks after me got their figures a long time ago! Why did all the 8/11’ers got shipped with such a crappy method but everyone else after that got the good shipping?

These figures left customs 10 days ago and not a single movement on them yet? That is just unacceptable

Yeah it's beyond annoying at this point. I also have another package from ShowZ (shipped a different way) that has been released from JFK customs 5 days ago and hasn't moved since. Customs takes their sweet f'n time to get things moving.

This isnt Show.Zs fault and while their initial reason for the delay in the shipping company moving the items out of China seemed like bunk it actually makes sense based on the volume. How many would you imagine they sold of this item? 200? 500? So many arriving at once would possibly raised the attention of customs who in turn could invite Hasbro to make a IP claim against the figures.

As annoying as the delay is for those effected it was probably a prudent move on behalf of the shipper.

Regarding USPS, they outsource all manner of their business to meet capacity and they are overwhelmed atm with COVID and increased stay at home ordering so its not only plausible but exceedingly likely and again, you cant hold Show.Z responsible for USPS, I recently had a parcel sit for 2 months at a distribution center, got item refunded, shipper claimed against USPS and suddenly it started moving again and arrived. If something arrives then 10,000 more items arrive after it, and 10,000 more the next day its buried and back logged.

I dont have a dog in this fight and I come here wondering who will be the first 11er to get their item and Im confident they will start to arrive in the upcoming weeks but theres no point getting mad at Show.Z or even USPS in this case, if you are really antsy, go whine at Show.Z, you will likely get something out of it in the form of store credit/points regardless.

I agree with @Jaguaratron . While the initial decision to put these on a freaking boat was probably a bad one, once they hit US soil, its really no longer up to ShowZ how quick or slow they get to your door.

I've ordered a lot of stuff over the last few months. Sometimes I get two or three packages a day. Not every day, but frequently. And I can tell you about 90% of those packages have been delayed. Some by a day, some by a couple weeks. They just get lost somewhere in transit, then usually show up in a banged up box like they spent two weeks crushed under someone's back seat. Heres a pic of one I just received yesterday like that.

    Excuse the unmade bed, LOL.

Shipping all over is messed up. I was going to make a PayPal claim too, until I realized the package actually made it to US Customs. After that, its not ShowZ's fault so I'll just wait.

There are no shortage of USPS trucks my dude, so the reply from the Show.Z rep is suspect at best.

JFK customs has always been the slowest even before COVID. My last package took 5+ days to get out of there. When I get stuff out of O'hare its out of customs in a day.

So your theory is that ShowZ somehow purposely slowed down the shipping here in the US? Perhaps they contacted customs and said, "Hey, clear the packages, but then hang on to them for two weeks. That will teach our rotten customers!" *maniacal laugh*

I honestly can't see how you can blame ShowZ for the slow shipping here. Again, yes the boat was a bad idea. Beyond that, it's out of their hands.

As someone who sells a lot of stuff online, I can tell you it SUCKS when USPS delays your item. Because you have a frustrated customer, but NO control over the shipment. You just pray the customer doesn't blame you.

I'd love to hear that conversation

Sir, our trucks are all 24 years old. That's their life expectancy. We should replace them.

    Are they still running?

Well, yes, sir, but they are past their shelf life.

If they're running, they're fine. Its not like they'll just blow up or anything, because they're too old.

    Well...okay, sir...

I didn't blame Show.Z for shipping, those are your words. I said what the rep said was BS. There is a difference, but I'm going to opt out of debating semantics here, friend.

Yes, their "local shipping company" said delivery is slow due to insufficient number of trucks in the USA. This is complete bullshit, as other deliveries from Show.Z, China sellers in general, and domestic partners are not affected by this "insufficient" supply of trucks. Just this figure. Ok.

I like Show.Z and have been purchasing from them for years and will continue to do so, but I'm calling out BS when I see it.

Earlier you said "not a good look for ShowZ." So if it's not their fault, and you're not blaming them, then it shouldn't reflect on them at all. Sounds to me like you are trying to lay the blame at their doorstep.

Please explain how you know for a fact their response is "BS?" Who have you contacted at USPS to either verify or disprove their statement?

We demand answers, and ShowZ provides them. Then we get mad when they aren't the answers we want and call ShowZ liars. Sounds to me like they're doing their best to follow-up and keep everyone in the loop. Its a little unfair to call BS on them without knowing for a fact it is BS.

Again, once they release the package to the shipping company, they have ZERO responsibility for it. None. Don't care what you think, at that point they transfer responsibility to the shipper. Period. The fact they are continually following up and providing updates tells me they really do care about customer service and are doing everything they can to make it right.

Sorry your toy has been delayed, but until you can prove they are lying, then I say you are overreacting by a good bit.

What are you smoking? In terms of demand there are a huge logistical gap in trucking capacity, thats world known.

You insist on trying to make my statement fit your narrative of the shipping slowness blame being put on Show.Z. Just stop. We are not seeing widespread delays approaching 60 days of any fig or packages from China, just this fig from Show.Z. For the last time I'm not blaming them for the slowness (which you can't seem to understand), I'm saying the rep's words of truck shortages in USA being the cause of the delay are BS. If it were true we would see bigger widespread delays of many figs and packages from all over. That ain't happening, it's only this fig.

Either accept that or not, I don't care

I've had the opposite experience with JFK Customs. I just had something come from China through JFK customs and it was in and out in less than a day. It's LA that always trips me up.

This thread (like so many others) has become the show.z-2 thread. While shipping is a mess around the world, I wouldn't say that's the problem here. Plenty of other Asian sellers are getting stuff to people in two weeks now. Yes USPS is being put in a bad position but a couple hundred LLV trucks is a very small portion of the fleet. Unless the hundreds of trucks are all bursting in New York or LA within a small period of time, it's not a big deal. Even then, LLVs are the final step in delivery. Semis and box trucks are used for the majority of the shipping process.

    SHOWZ IS UNORGANIZED

People who pay for expedited shipping don't get it. People that preorder months in advance are put behind people that order a week after release or worse... Someone complains and then their order gets priority no matter what. I'm pretty sure that the recent uptick in popularity with showz has overwhelmed them.

Can we go back to talking about the KO and not showz or your order's shipping status?

So I take it you didn't read my reply at all? Or you're just choosing to ignore my questions because you know you're wrong?

We'd love to talk about the figure. Once we receive from ShowZ and their slow shipping service! :D
