Of course they are. That's the entire point of the Siege subline.

 

The more I think about it, the more I realize that RTS Windcharger would have made a good Barricade remold. Ideally I'd have stuck with race car Barricade, but I am not completely opposed to retcons.

That being said I wouldn't turn down a Strongarm from Trailbreaker or the Siege Hound mold.

And here I thought we were in sync.

 

Yeah, the whole Barricade → Prowl/Datsuns connection has some weird DNA. I'd say it started with the Transformers Universe/aligned continuity Barricade and Prowl designs being made essentially conceptual retools, and we eventually saw that with the TFCC Prime Prowl redeco into Barricade (kind of a mess of a figure, but still my preferred Barricade for my Generations collection). But then the connection between Barricade and the Datsuns was made and codified with Guido Guidi's fan coloration. Kinda makes me wonder if someone would ever make a Bayverse Prowl that looks like a good guy Barricade to reverse the trend.

 

Yeah. Personally, I vastly preferred the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron designs.

Except the Combaticons/Wrecker combined teams. Lazy, half-assed toys that might be,taking into account when they were released, the worst combiner toys ever!

 

Ooh, those are all great choices! Not gonna lie, as a child I was only familiar with the Mayhem Attack Squad and the Air Stroke Patrol and Sports Car Patrol as far as Decepticon Micromasters are concerend, so for the longest time I've associated the name Barricade with the movie character despite having been an early '90s EuroG1 kid. That being said, good old G1 Barricade could use some love, I really dig his "almost G2" color scheme.

 

It's not just the Siege vehicle modes to me. Ever since 2017's "Evergreen" designs, Transformers designs have been creatively stale all around (not counting The Bumblebee movie's earth modes).

That said, Bumblebee's Cybertron scene is the biggest fanwank this franchise has ever had.

I enjoyed Superlink.

 

Having actually sat down to watch Superlink for the first time a couple weeks ago, I can say I also enjoyed Superlink.

 

So is the Superlink dub is as bad as the Energon dub?

 

Well you see, it’s not about how weird the idea is, but how well one wears it. For instance, I could never get away with being a purple and green dinosaur, but a cool, cunning super villain like BW Megatron probably manage. Or something like that anyway.

 

It's coherent, so that automatically puts it above the Energon dub.

 

That explain why I can watch it gazillion times too bad the damage had been that done.

 

I want to see a morally gray grimlock again

I want a wreckers show or at least have them appear in another show

I also want to see a marvel style galvatron

I also want to see devastator and bruticus in a show again

I want the DJD to appear in a show or at least have a cameo or something

and I to see a video or fan art of the DJD brutally murdering the bee team, everyone from energon, rattrap, billy and Fred from armada, and all the human villains from animated

I also want to see a black Optimus prime that isn’t nemesis prime

 

Cityformers/Baseformers are stupid and have no place in the world of Transformers.

 

I hate that people buy multiples of figures.
It's bad enough that finding anything at a store that's not a shelfwarmer is incredibly difficult, but at times online shopping can be a pain because everything goes out of stock real fast.
And then I see people buying like 3 Arcees or 2 Masterpiece Starscreams. Seriously, sorry that you want to buy 3 versions of something so you can slap on a shoddy paintjob but can you please be more considerate?

 

Geewunized Barricade is pretty much why I have no interest in anymore characters from other continuities getting the "Geewunized treatment." I just don't find the idea of taking these uniquely designed characters, and making them look like every other G1 Autobot or Decepticon interesting. It's just straight up boring.
