Not going to buy this whole set for the Baliff, but maybe I will luck out one day and find it on eBay. All in all the set looks really good though!  

 

This will irritate some folks I'm sure, but my plan for this set is to display it sealed, with all the upcoming Quintesson related characters in front of it.

It just looks too cool to open...

 

You can't add the obligatory 4 or 5 extra Sharkticons if it's left sealed.

Normally I don't care that much about packaging and open all my stuff. This is a rare time I agree with you and will probably just leave it sealed. Put some extra sharkticons around the outside

I am debating that as well. Was thinking of flanking the display with a Quint on each side, 4 gnaws (one in bot mode) on one side, and 4 allicons (one in bot mode) on the other. What is holding me back is do I really need $60 worth of heads on a stick in my collection just to keep this sealed?

 

Oooof, not gonna lie, I really don't like the new colors.
I bought this thing without realizing they had changed the judge so dramatically from the initial reveals..
I far prefer what I see in those first reveal shots (much better photos too!).
Guess I'll wait to see how it looks in person, but I may keep it sealed for a sale down the road..

 

The colors are the same? Just different from the regular retail version.

 

All 3 of my orders shipped today. So yeah, as I kept saying the whole "1 per customer" means "1 per order", same as it did for the Generations Selects "2 per customer" orders that also never have been cancelled before. I am wondering if maybe this is some legal nonsense they need to use for some reason.

Nah, the tentacles are green now instead of grey, the body is light grey instead of dark grey, and the colors of the heads and helmets are also more cartoon accurate. Most notably the Death face's helmet is a light olive green instead of the darker green of the regular.

That has been tempting me as well, I already have a Judge paid on preorder from KapowToys and recently Mall.hu has also listed them so they are in my country... But I think I'll be fine with just two Judges instead of three.

I don't think you lose anything by opening it. The insert paper pit works just the same for a display set if you open it.
I plan to put at least 3 Sharkticons inside the pit and some around it. Still need some Allicons to stand around as bodyguards, though.

I think the energy pillar is only green on the CGI shots of the Wave 3 release,but it is colorless transparent on the actual release.

 

I set up a US p.o. box well in advance, and woke up literally ten minutes after this set went up for preorder... and it was already sold out.
What few sellers I can find that ship to Australia are charging upwards of quadruple what it cost on Hasbro Pulse.

It's depressing as hell. I hope it gets a wider Amazon release at some point.

I understand your frustration both with not getting it and those that bought multiples but saying that to BB was uncalled for.

The set sold out minutes after being available for everyone on the second day because they forgot to update the stock allotment. It was available again about 30 o r.c 40 minutes later.

 

I only got the Pit set, not the standalone Quintesson. I like the deco on the faces on the Exclusive version better, but I think I prefer the darker "eggshell" of the retail release.

 

Strongly considering keeping this in the box. The packaging is really nice, and I don’t think the toys are that fun. I got the Quintesson standalone yesterday and it looks cool but isn’t really a “transformer.”

 

Was gonna mention the RK site selling the Pit but also sold out quickly. So, hopefully other Asian sellers will get stock too.

After I get this and the Judge I ordered from Target (stop delaying it, dammit!), I want one more retail Judge and a couple Alicons, then I'll add my 13 Sharktions.

I might have to make a bigger pit display...

 

I'm willing to bet there are some who bought it to chop it up and sell as parts. I'm sure you'll have to "overpay" for the Baliff, but it won't cost as much as the whole set.

 

I'd bet the Bailiff will go for at least $50 on ebay
