Interesting. One of the upper thigh/hip pieces on Long Haul actually managed to break from the pressure put on it by the ratcheting joint. The post holding the two halves together via a screw snapped off right where the screw ends. The pressure from the thigh pieces wrapped around the swivel joint of the hip block keep it together. Glad that's the extra Long Haul that stays in vehicle mode, I guess.

    Some maintenance questions/help

Anyone what and how to tighten up that black piece that holds on the rachet gear?
    PXL_20200928_233253151.jpg
It's part of the little platform that attaches the crane to Hook.
    PXL_20200928_233839874.jpg
It seems to be just a pin

Have similar problem with Scavenger's and the rachet it connects to.

    Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how the joint works, but if it's a pin that can't be tightened, maybe make a thin plastic shim to snug it up? Like a U-shape to slide around and hug the pin?

I think you can tighten the connector on the crane itself. Otherwise you will probably have to use superglue or future's floor polish to tighten the pin.

That might be a moot point since not even all the vehicles properly scale with one another.

    Hello All.

I bought the stability kit for Jinbao Devy and arm adaptor (to accommodate UT Vortex on Jinbao Warbotron) from Shapeways (designed by @ultraman zoffy) which arrived yesterday.

Installed most of the components of the stability kit with the exception of these two pieces.

Does anyone of you knowledgeable chaps/chapettes know where they go?

I thought they may go on the left foot. Appreciate any assistance that can be offered.

    Kind regards,
    Steve

They hook around the hinge arms of the shovel on the right foot to help keep it in place. There's 2 holes behind the hinge arms that they peg into. Let me know if you can't figure it out and I can take a pic for you! =)

I got it - thanks. I managed to sort it 90 mins ago. My day job was getting in the way. Lol. Had a feeling it was connected to the shovel part on the right foot given the other hooked parts I had installed on it. From some of your photos I thought you had another piece to stabilise the left foot.

Just got to clean them up and get them painted. Definitely help with stability as the shovel always wanted to unclip and making the right foot compromised.

The rest of the installed components shown below:

    Crotch piece:

    Left foot clip:

Right foot clip to keep the split parts together:

I’d recommend these components to help maintain the stability of the figure. Will still need to get the balance and posing right. These parts certainly help. I’m very happy with the purchase.

@ultraman zoffy - just need to find out where you do the thigh covers for Jinbao Warbotron??

    Meeeh.

I was moving KB GB last night and noticed the head was missing its red visor on its head. I'm at a loss to where or how it could have gone too. Also confused how i never noticed it before.

Would anyone be willing to sell their jinbao KO gravity builder head? The round one that comes preinstalled.

The preinstalled head doesn't have a detachable visor. Do you mean the head from the upgrade kit?

Here's what mine looks like disassembled. The visor piece extends all the way to the forehead crystal for light piping. It's possible there were two different production runs, and you got one with a different part. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell ya.
