What I mean though is like I get they're for a younger audience but what if that audience grows up and sees more up to date versions. Like think about it we always feel some nostalgia when the characters we grew up get a new toy and its that feeling you were 4-5-6 years old seeing say...I don't know Boulder as a voyager bulldozer or Heat Wave as a Voyager fire truck. I'm not disagreeing but the idea is where I'm coming from though.

 

It wouldn't be unprecedented either since Blurr made the jump to normal retail figure and as far as i know he was pretty popular.

 

I personally am kinda glad to see it sundown. Not to beat it up so much, but I wasn't much of a fan. From the tad bit i've seen, it just lacked a bit of the heart and soul that RB had, imo.

 

Can we see that purple on green paint job used for another character. Its so off I love it...Like I get Dirt Boss vibes from it. Just...Green, neon green on purple plus white. Its so dreadful but at the same time it works so well. Maybe it could work as a Decepticon?

 

There's something wrong here.....according with timeline, beast wars was after G1 battle where maximals and predacons meet their antecessors, later in beast machines...is where it turned meaningless, at least with G1 due to beast machines is a prequel of beast wars, could be the unique connexion with G1 , armada , energon, animated, prime, robots in disguise have nothing to do with the original plot, sad to say they didn't add more elements

 

Maybe now Heatwave can be in the comics.

Just wow. You don’t have to like the show, but that wasn’t necessary. Most don’t even hate the show. You wouldn’t like it if someone did that to your favorite show? No. Also the show is made for little kids so of course you wouldn’t like. You could’ve said meh whatever.

 

But Alligned Continuity is over. So yeah we mourn it. Why tell us not to worry when its over..............?

 

Meh it's not like aligned continuity is something significant and serious. Not to mention, it's not like Rescue Bots S3 and Rescue Bots Academy maintained strong continuity ties with Prime and Robots in Disguise.

 

I'm assuming this is happening so that Hasbro can enter a post-Warden era in lock-step with their media plans. This is a good thing to me because I prefer to see brand unification over fracturing the media. It'd be nice to see just a single unified family-friendly toy line moving forward, TBH, where Transfomers for younger children, older children and collectors can all find toys under one branding, similar to what we had between 1984 and 1992.

*sigh* But I know that will never happen. It's better to have eight sub-brands to make Google searching easier for parents to find product for their children. It's the same reasoning why every movie sequel isn't called 2, 3, 4, etc. and instead has a subtitle.

 

Okay I hope this is a joke, but if not. So what you saying is that TF shows that bring in the youngest people is bad? Uh little kids have a right to love the transformers too. You should see that as a good thing.

No they were for older kids. There is nothing wrong with having a Transformers show like Rescue Bots and RBA. Most or all little kiddies love those shows, so your opinion doesn’t matter to Hasbro.

Yeah preschool friendly, but not preschool target. But the Rescue Bots is the former unlike Rescue Bots Academy (still a good show). Heck most adults like RB and RBA, so maybe they did made family friendly. Maybe you meant do even better.

You are allow to hate RB and RBA, but what you post was really dumb. Most people, young and old love Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy. Saying good news. Are you kidding me?! Also your reason for hating the shows is dumb. Just because it doesn’t have cons doesn’t mean it’s a bad show. Judge it for it has and is. Not for it doesn’t has and isn’t. Most, if not all little kids love RB and RBA, so your opinion is nothing to Hasbro. I do wish the RBA has bad guys or antagonist, but show is good without them. RBA is proof that shows don’t need villains or antagonist to be good. Of course you’re just a genwunner (like some of these people on here. Hating the show just because there’s no cons (well bouncer is one) is dumb.

bad guys would be nice. But hating because lack bad guys is silly to me.

 

I really just hope that Hasbro uses the characters of Rescue Bots again, didn't care for Rescue Bots Academy as that was absolutely meant wholly for smaller kids.

I'd pay out the ass for a set of Generations Rescue Bots, either via HasLab or just Generations Selects.

 

Genuinely gonna miss this cute little show.

 

Jeez buddy it was just a joke, he's allowed to not like a kids show.

 

...not to disparage RBA, but i posit that the original rescue bots was a contender for the best-produced transformers series of all time, and so saying goodbye to RBA is also saying goodbye to its original legacy, and in a sense the aligned continuity as a whole...

...rescue bots may someday return, but it'll be something new and an homage to its original legacy, rather than a true continuation...

 

One more episode to go in the uk and while season 2 has been less fun than season 1 i am going to miss the things this show did well.
I loved the cameos by sludge, snarl and surprisingly slash. I actually think 10 mins suited the episodes for this show. Plus Whirl became my favourite new character in a long time. 
Glad they chose not to drag it out. 

 

Whirl might be the main reason to like the show to be honest
