Looks great. I forget if you said you were going to be sharing the stl or if you were only going to be selling prints. If you're going to share the stl I'd love to take a crack at printing it myself.

She's a really solid and well made figure. My MT-universe and WW universe Arcee.  

 

So far, we have 2 people here working on Printing heads for folks, 1 of them being Zyros. The other one is also in this thread but I won't say whom as he wishes to stay Anon.   But I've already emailed the files to at least 18 other people aside from those 2. (Zyros didn't need to use the files honestly, as he already made some really fantastic head designs.)

Just letting folks know that there are no more needs to worry about getting Heads for your Nicee. Help is only the way for everyone.   Many people out there are more than likely making various version of their own heads as well.

Honestly, this is one of the coolest things in a very long time that's helped to bring us all together as fans. I really miss those days. But it's been really awesome to see, especially in 2020. I really hope to see much more fan co-ops being done like this. I really love seeing people come together, all for a common goal. and a common love and passion for the Hobby.

I just wanted to announce that I have the actual BFBT Head .STL files for both the NICEE & RC head (that was originally going to be included). (If folks are interested DM me for details) I'm offering them for those who also have 3D Printing Capability as well because I helping to lighten the load off of Zyros or anyone else making these so they don't get overwhelmed with requests.

I'm Just trying to help spread the love on the Heads. So everybody will have more of a chance to get a couple depending on who else offers to print them.  

 

Awesome! I'll be reaching out to you to ask for an email of the files but I'd also like a copy of @Zyros head if he's willing to share it. It'd be nice to try both and see which I prefer. Does the "official" file come in parts? Like with the removable face like the Nicee head that comes with her? If so, I think I'll take a crack at doing some alternate face sculpts: some more expressions besides the stoic warrior face and the tongue out face. A nice smile and an angry face perhaps.

 

I was able to test print all my files and they're ready to go. You might need to do a little bit of sanding depending on the tolerances of your printer, but I was able to print them in ABS resin and they fit snug so I'm going to leave the files at where they are.

For full transparency: I am in fact selling my version. There's no obligation since there's now a free alternative, so no hard feelings if you feel like that's your best bet. My file comes with both versions of the head (eyes/glasses), a scabbard that attaches to her wings/backpack and a holster that attaches to the hard point on her thigh. You can PM me for any information regarding photos/price/questions/etc. I'm attaching the printer file as a preview.

A few notes: the head file is 3 parts: the head, neck and connecting ear piece so there's minimal seams. The holster and scabbard are one piece each. Either way, we'll all get our own Arcee heads, so we all win!

 

The heads I have I believe do come apart. no worries on the cat tongue face, that's not the head i have. The 2 I have are the default head she comes with and the main RC head that was cancelled due to the crackdown. Now on that RC head, the Visor is on it along with alternate Ear Caps. However, the Ear caps and the visor can detach and the main face and default Buns are underneath. The head can completely be disassembled. There's I believe 7 to 9 parts overall. Both head models can come completely apart. So the possibilities for editing should pretty much be limitless. So long as you know how to.

I'd even take a crack at them myself, but I don't have any programs I can use to mess with them. These are for you guys.

Also, your renders are absolutely beautiful. and if I had a printer or even a 3D program in general to view them in, I'd be all over those suckers in a hot second. They are well worth it. and you worked really hard on them.   and there is absolutely nothing wrong with selling your art, which is exactly what they are.

There is always Blender. It's pretty damn good for a free program.

 

When I made it, it was supposed to just be about the delay for the products. Even had a different tititle until someone changes it. Oh well glad it’s serving the community!

Just wanted to give a big thanks to @GAUGE and @Zyros (and everyone else behind the scenes) for all the progress and updates.

I wasn’t crushed when we didn’t get the “Arcee” head, but I’d definitely buy one and wouldn’t say no to it.

Just let me know when painted copies are available and I’ll start throwing my money in different directions.

I'd be interested in buying a head. Personally, I'm fine with the stock head, but I was hoping to have this displayed as an Arcee variant.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere in the thread, but it's kind of hard to pay attention to a thread like this with virtually no pictures... anyway, will the heads be painted?

Speaking of which, is there a reason for that? Is it because she has breasts in a bikini or something? Just playing devil's advocate...but her bust is smaller than MP Blackarachnia's comparatively speaking...

 

Because a small amount of people share... Creepy... Pics and it turns into a lot of crappy discussion/arguments. And cuz "think of the children".

Heads won't be painted from what I know. @Zyros is selling printed heads that look fantastic but will need paint. This page or last page someone said they are sharing files for free for you to print yourself.
