    I wasn't comparing the 2016 Jungle Book to I, Robot - I was comparing it to Mowgli, Andy Serkis' Jungle Book film that was released on Netflix in 2018.

    Mowgli used performance capture for its animals' expressions and the 2016 Jungle Book, aside from the talking, kept its animals mostly photorealistic in terms of facial expressions. Which set of characters did audiences respond to better and which, objectively, were better effects?

    And no matter how good the technology, one can't shake the uncanny valley effect that comes with smooth, human-looking faces, especially with robots.

    Except uncanny valley isn't the same for everyone. For instance, the faces from I, Robot freak you out - I'm absolutely fine with them.

    Fan of the original trilogy as well. AOE & TLK intro flashbacks were cringey, but without for TF4 & TF5 we wouldn’t have such kickass design for OP.

    It happens on every post, it happens to me when i make a bayverse positive thread that makes me wanna delete my posts but i have to learn that it's pointless, when i go and leave this website you won't stop making threads about did you like the movies because i know everyones answer (No) and that makes me wanna defend my preference and stand up for myself and admit what i like.

    I know i was out of control and talking shit on the bee movie and I'm sorry, over done.

    You've made 3 threads in total. 2 were questions asking for peoples opinions and the other was just a redo of another thread. Also nobody is knocking you for liking these movies. Plenty of people don't like them and want to say that they don't like them, they're allowed to. Much like how you are allowed to defend what you like.
