Does this thing legit transform?
I can see some pins for flaps on the legs and the rotor folds out on the back with a hinge but it would have to be UT levels of mastery.

 

I had the immense privilege of working with one of the teams building the Raider X, the proposed military variant of the S-97. If this ever gets released, I'd get it just as a reminder of the experience. Oh, and Helicopter Waspinator, which is something I've been wanting to see for a long time.

 

I think this figure looks awesome! I hope they compensated Spino because this was his original take on the character

I am not a huge fan of the Bayverse look, but this Waspinator is beautiful.  I wanna see a pic of the helicopter blades spread out like they are tiny bug wings, keeping him aloft in RobotMode

 

Because this is what 3Ps should be doing rather than just iterating over the same 2-3 G1 characters in different sizes/scales over and over again.

And bonus points if they're actually partnering with the original artist, compared to the T-Beast wars that have kicked off.

Because its a unique bw design, and teases so many more if this line continues. We live in a 3p world which is mp dominated, and something like this is like water in the desert. If this succeeds, amazingspino has beautiful designs thatd make awesome figures. I think thats where the Salivas coming from.

 

I dunno.. US$90 works out to about AU$127 at the moment. If that doesn't include shipping, I could land a Gewalt for less than that, it's barely below Landbull, and it's getting dangerously close to Challenger - and those are much larger, perhaps even more impressive figures.

Including shipping, though? That probably puts it more in the company of PE-DX11. Not 100% convinced I'd buy him alone at that price, but I did get both the Jetpower and Godforce versions so maybe I'm rubbing the chin a little too hard here.

 

Oh my god just saw this. I actually want it. And the art... Seekers that AREN'T F-22s or F-15s? Hornets?! Hell yes. We never get transforming F/A-18s!

You happen to be ignoring thats the price a lot of 3p voyagers hit nowadays. Foc shockwave, which is a voyager hits that price. Mmcs combaticons hit that price about, and mp bumblebee hits that price range. The transformation on waspinator looks a fair bit complex, so its best to see the transformation to give it a fair shake.

 

How do you summon the mods? The maker name is incorrect. We Make Works is the studio commissioned to paint this display piece for the wonfes shanghai convention this weekend. The maker is still 小木马工作室/Trojan Horse and this is all mentioned in the weibo source.
