It comes out on Monday the 28th this month.

Good good, thought it had fallen quiet on updates with this guy.

Then again, been let down pinning my hopes on Fig King enough times in the past not to count on the coloured proto pics I'm angling for!  

 

I grow more and more convinced well see a MP Skyfire, with a surprise Gerwalk mode and battle armor.

Well, my bank account is wimpering in a corner right now.
Both MP Tigatron and MPM Ratchet hit at the same damn time.  

However, the latest pic of V2 Screamer has brought a bit of joy, to a rather expensive day.

 

Just the usual.
- have it do poses from the cartoon as a poseable actionfigure
- have the transformation be inferred by the arrangement of the parts
- having a handsome face for Starscream was also an important point
- for the first time the toy can use the "alternate transformation" mode from the cartoon
- the circumference of the engine nozzles is balanced
- keeping the underside accurate by hiding the arms and having the clusterbombs
- a styling of real and fictional plane details
- basically a g1 styling of the F-15 (A or C type)
- canopy and nosecone opening gimmicks
- a bit on the history and importance of the F-15

 

Duuuude... accurate underside? Hidden arms? Real plane details? This is my jam.  

What "alternate transformation mode" though? The gerwalk? I don't recall the Seekers ever actually doing that.

 

I wish we had information on how much V2 Screamer is going to cost.
I'm guessing in the $300 range.

 

Huh, well there you go! I have to say, while walking planes always seemed a bit incongruous to me, I am loving Takara's obsession with the minutiae of the cartoon. Not stopping at homaging the major and oft-used accessories, they're going so far as to incorporate alternate transformation sequences seen for two seconds in one scene of one episode. This, here, is why you can't beat Masterpiece.

 

How much was the Black Convoy release of 44? Seeker V2 won't be more than that, I'm sure.

From my understanding, military designs don't need licensing for to them technically being public property. It's why 03 isn't licensed, if I'm not mistaken.

 

I want a V1 Jazz more than any other MP right now...except maybe a show accurate Arcee. I’m fine with the existing Sideswipe design. He’s solid and simple and fun to play with without worrying about scratching him or snapping something off...and I think he looks great.
