FWIW, mine has no observable QC faults or missing parts (hopefully the silent majority).
    Transformed back and forth.

Other than a few nubs that don't really bother me, absolute perfection! Not a scratch, chip, or missing part! I can't believe how solid it is! It's almost unrealistically solid! The neck was backwards but I just took care of that when swapping the head. I heard someone say the joints are their V4 felt loose, but mine a awesomely tight. My only complaint, is that the thumbs (especially the right one) are TOO tight. The left feels like it loosened up a little, but the other's a pain, ngl. I need to check out the gun still to see if it works. If it doesn't, I won't be too depressed, just mildly inconvenienced.

Update: I was just on my way to crack the gun open to see if it came with batteries, I pressed the switch and the light flickered. Has anyone noticed a loose rattle-y sound in the gun? I feel like this is fixable... Gonna try to change the batteries just in case their using cheap ones.

Ok something very strange to note. If I hold the gun horizontal, it doesn't work. But if I turn it vertical, with the barrel up, it works. I also shook it horizontally and noticed the LED lights up every time there's that loose noise inside. Gonna open it up now and check it out. Can someone send Wheeljack over maybe?

So I screwed around for a while, and I kinda figured it out. So basically the battery case is too loose. That rattling noise was actually the batteries themselves. If the batteries are slightly misaligned, it won't work. They need to be perfectly pressed together. I tried putting a piece of plastic in there to sorta act like a splint, didn't work. I tried wrapping a piece of tape around the batteries, didn't work. I finally said screw it and just put the batteries back in the way they were, and now it works XD. I haven't come up with a permanent "How-to-fix", but I hope I helped someone in that direction.

Sounds like something is a hair too short to complete the connection, maybe a spring?

Definitely. There's like two thin pieces of metal in the top and bottom of the rear box. I'm not sure how you'd go about fixing those, I don't wanna start bending stuff around.

Well here's a pic of the inside. You can see the little metal bits on the top and bottom. For some reason it's working now no matter what position the batteries are in. Not sure if I accindentally fixed something, or it's just magic.

I use aluminum foil. Since it's conductive, I fold a dense sheet and have it pressed into the positive end of the battery stack and battery compartment. The friction holds it all in place. Works on all my project.

Why didn't I think of that?! Genius! Speaking of metal, does anyone have a definitive guide as to what's metal and what isn't on this guy? Second time around transforming him (my arms are sore but I love it) and I swear I keep finding metal pieces!

I forgot to ask, anyone have any luck putting the V1 head antennas on the new head? I mean have no problem with the antennas that are on there now, but the V1's just feel more comfortable.

I actually crushed my new head antennas while transforming, so I popped the old head antennas on the new one no problem.

The left hand on my prime cracked right in half the first time I transformed it. I didn't apply any significant pressure that should have cause it. I used some glue to fix, but now of course the bottom 3 fingers are permanently stuck in a fixed position and don't collapse enough to fit in the forearm to transform back to vehicle mode.

Does anyone know if replacement parts are available? I just need a left hand for mine.

Mine also has the same slider issue on the foot. The little plastic piece came cracked in half on the right foot.

Thanks to @ShowZStore my TE-01 arrived on friday. No cracks, no sprue marks and no missing matrix. But on my second transformation attempt I encountered the same problem like @ichnach and yes these two pieces are very small, you can't really see any screw thread in it.

I found another oddity while transforming it. Looks like their paint shop is their backyard.

I was thinking of buying this again because my first run one had some QC problems, but it looks like I'd just be trading one problem for another.

Bruh wtf?! That is so weird! Mine has a small hair stuck inside the leg. I like to think of it as having a piece of god in his creation XD

Also (I know I'm posting way too much) does anyone's kinda lean forward even though the legs look perfectly straight?
