That's good to know, thanks for sharing as this gives me grounds for getting some part of it replaced perhaps if needed.

 

I think I’m most interested in whether Fanstoys does nothing about it like they did with shrapnel’s breaking c-clips, or if they try to fix this issue...

I'm relieved to see that Thomas seems to go well with Gewalt (in my humble opinion anyway). I know Gewalt is a bit beefy, but I'm pretty sure they'll look cool side by side. Ditka is a better match in terms of proportion and style, but those colours just ruin the figure for me. That, and the fact the damn thing wouldn't stand up.

 

I see no problem with that. Don't buy from the scalpers and let those asshats sit on it and wait for more PS5 or Xbox if you can.
As for Thomas, wait for another reissue and maybe not think too much about PO future FT figures till it sells out.

Agreed. I have always PO'd every Fanstoys figure in the past. With Thomas, 2 things happened that led me to not getting a preorder in on time: 1-I noticed how I had preordered not-Blitzwing and not-Trailbreaker and no movement was occurring as far as progress. 2-I lost my job, so I couldn't afford the FT releases like I was used to. I do suggest for everyone to PO these FT releases if you are able as the rate of purchase has increased since back in the day.

I think that is because it was there first and spotlight episode. It's literaly called Triple Takeover.

And all new toys must be more powerful than the old ones. Astrotrain is also bigger than Starscream in the God Gambit. By the time of the movie and S3 his power is severly diminished.

 

Sorry, I wish I could but FT messed up and didn’t send any of Toy Dojo’s shipment to me this time. So I have to wait until I get one from Toy Dojo. It may arrive tomorrow but my evening is packed so likely the earliest will be Tuesday night for a livestream.

Oh shit...now I'm starting to have second thoughts.   They look good together.

 

This is pretty impressive but too toon for me. They did a great job of going for that aesthetic though! It's a shame we'll likely never get a Hasui style one (hybrid toy/toon/memories); I mean, Chigurh is wicked, but it veers to far off into CHUG designscape. Still, I think that's a rad figure, especially for it's time, but maybe not as an MP spot-filler.

 

I expect with these trickling out to people, there will be a few hundred transportation captains and chugurhs on eBay.

 

No disrespect to anyone who bought it, but I would actually like to see at least one Transportation Captain go up on eBay as proof that a good portion of people got him, cause that thing has really run under the radar as far as i've seen, I only really heard of him twice yet never saw him online.

 

I had the figure and ended up giving it to a friend of mine. I would have kept it (and most likely not replaced it) had it been scaled up by about 15-20% and had just a bit better build quality. It looked enough of the part for me, but it was just too small standing next to Ditka.
