I’m really excited for my copy of Thomas to come in from ShowZ. I can’t wait to transform him.

 

Now THOSE are some goddamn insignias! Bravo on splitting them across the wings. I want mine to look like that.

 

The train tracks make a good ladder. Not sure I'd feel comfortable displaying a heavy figure on them like suggested for shuttle mode.

 

Looks like he was misbehaving and was sent to his bedroom, where he has the top bunk.

 

Now that I've seen it I'll probably pick up Chigurh instead.

 

I was messing with chigurh last night. I had forgotten He has 1 ankle tilt.

 

Paiks been radio silence it seems for awhile. I hope he is ok

 

Gotta agree with Quintessential Prime especially when the world is seeing more people using bots to buy highly sought after items stealing it from would be buyers and selling it at twice the price like the ps5 and Xbox x. The more we can dissuade this behavior from coming into our hobby the better.

 

Forgive me if I missed it, this thread has been pretty busy. Have they shown how much travel is in the ankles yet?

 

Looking at your second picture it seems your copy has the same knee ratchet misalign mine does.

(@mista2x confirmed earlier his does too). He still stands just fine, but the legs cant properly line up. Having had mine open and found the causing issue i thought this sadly might affect every copy, unless they altered something later in the run. Shame.

Like the use as a ladder. When i clipped the shuttle on yesterday it felt solid and didnt wobble at all - this is 1 of the only stands i would use. Clever double use by FT.

Mine is in train mode but from memory (providing you unclip and rotate the heel - it comes mistransformed) you get a decent 45 degrees.

 

The misaligned legs thing is a HUGE let down. First confirmed thing that actually has me disappointed.

If it bothers me enough, I might sell my copy.

 

I love reading Fan Toys threads, they have one of two settings:

1. BWAHAHAHA!!! THIS IS THE GREATEST FIGURE OF ALL TIME!!!!

It's strange... Maybe Thomas didn't have enough diecast inside to make it appear to be of better quality  

 

exactly the size and how i will be putting my logo's , i won't be transforming it anyway

But like 8/10 times the people who say the 2nd thing turn into the 1st thing after they realize they have it mistransformed

Personally I think in robot mode the look of DX9 Chigurh is fine, not ugly at all, just not the current MP style, morel like CHUG ones.
It's the very ugly space shuttle and train modes caused me didn't buy it, which didn't show on these pictures.



And DX9 Gewalt is definitely too big.
