Megatron looks cool; I think I will get one alongside the two-pack. Really nice stuff from Hasbro, I didn’t expect to see anything for Prime and yet we ended up with some great reissues and a new RED figure to accommodate the anniversary.

By the way, I rewatched some Prime this week because I felt like it and maybe it’s just me but – there’s a whole lot of Lovecraftian horror stuff going on this show, isn’t there? With Megatron especially.

I mean he returns from a voyage through deep space, having recovered the "blood of an ancient great one", using it to turn corpses into undead beasts and assimilates it into himself, becoming invigorated and claiming to hear a voice from beyond in his head. And there’s literally a line much later into the show where Megatron dubs himself a "god wielding the power of the cosmos".

Entirely unrelated: I also played a whole lot of Bloodborne on the side while watching.

Genuinely amazed by Arms Micron Megatron being reissued too....didn't think there was THAT much of a demand for that. I would've figured FE Optimus or Bulkhead were more likely if anything.

I keep seeing people call Breakdown a deluxe... I'm fairly certain he's a voyager, no? Is he smaller than the original release or something?

He's a straight reissue, so he's the same size as the original and technically a voyager...some people think he's on the stumpy side of voyager sizing though, so they will probably like to think of him as deluxe.

They specifically classified him as a deluxe during the panel which was bizarre.

The AM Breakdown mould is actually pretty stout, from what I remember from having the Swerve version of it for a while it's really not much taller than other Deluxes of the time, like a head or two taller. My theory on why Breakdown was in a production "no man's land" for Hasbro back in the day is that the mould didn't meet their criteria to be released at either price point; too big to be a proper Deluxe, but also too small to be a proper Voyager, it's somewhere in between. I think the reason we're seeing him, and the Jet Vehicon, now is since Hasbro have gone all-in on the collector side of things they finally have an avenue to release things like this without the constraints of needing to hit a particular price point.

Yeah but they also misspoke several times (eg they called Megatron a Voyager at one point), so take it with a grain of salt.

No, they've been obtained in Asia, already. People have them in hand, last I heard. (They shared pics IIRC.)

I hope, this being 10th anniversary stuff, it means that they release it again at some point next year after this set sells out to make up as well even more to just ruin the aftermarket on the original Arms Micron figure

And if it doesn't, At the very least you get a good figure at a steal of a deal

That's Silas Breakdown. That's where they took a zombified Silas and implanted him in dead Breakdown's body. It was dark and awesome. I'd keep both, if I were you.
