Any time an employee has mentioned an "expected date" to me I just ignore it, because it has never ended up having any relation to what actually came in and when.
For the most part I think they're trying to be helpful but just not fully understanding the data in their hand-held, beyond the in-stock count. A couple of times I've gotten the impression that they're fed up with checking stock for Transformers/Hot Wheels/Whatever collectors, and would like us to leave them alone for a week. Which I can also empathise with.

 

Skyline Target has a Sky Lynx, a Doubledealer, a couple Snapdragons, a SS Overload, a couple Skipjacks, and 3-4 Leadfoots. Nothing else interesting.

 

Tomorrow morning I'm trekking from RVA to the Norfolk Ikea, as they finally got a dresser back in that my wife has been stalking for our kiddo. I don't plan on staying in town all day, but are there any vintage toy shops or comic shops with a lot of vintage stuff in the area that I should pop into while I'm in town?

 

Its not super close to Ikea but there's an antique mall in virginia beach, the entire upstairs is nothing but toys and they have a good size TF section. If you hop on the interstate by Ikea it wouldn't take too long. Virginia Beach Antique Mall on Virginia Beach Blvd.

It's been a few years since I've been there, but they had a spot at an antique mall in Richmond on Hull St near Genito Rd. Market Bazaar I think. I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

 

Traffic sucked going back (tunnel mess) so I didn't end up going to the antique mall, thanks for the idea though. Next time i'm down there it sounds cool

I did stop at the Target on the other side of the tunnel (RVA side, not norfolk side) and they had a $75 starscream and 2x each of the Jada hollywood rides guys (so 2 joe and 2 TF), as well as two seeker packs.

Zion Crossroads Walmart had Skipjack, Snapdragon, Blitzwing, Topspin, and Satellite Soundwave.

I picked up the only Marvel Legends pirate Deadpool and there were 2 Marvel Legends DP2 Cable after I grabbed one.

 

Nothing new at the two Walmarts I went to today. However I did see full pegs of the new GI Joe 3.75” Snake Eyes and Stormshadow retros at Battlefield. I checked them out but ultimately passed. I think they missed on the cards. They should have done what MOTUO did with their card fronts, which are perfect. Should have gone full early 80s.

Saw 2 skylynxes at Target West (midlothian) yesterday.

 

As of about 5 p.m. on Sunday 9/27:

TJ Maxx, Dulles Eastern Plaza: One Siege Sideswipe for $12.99. I hid it partially behind a Star Wars stationery set.

Target Dulles 28 Center: 2 Earthrise Optimus Primes, 2 Earthrise Starscreams, 1 Astrotrain, 1 Shockwave, 1 Doubledealer, and a couple Hoists and Grapples.

 

Manassas Target had two ER Sky Lynx this morning.

 

So who wants to bet Wave 2 doesn't show up this weekend.
