Does anyone have this particular set, and is it any good?

 

I actually just bought it on Friday. Gonna be awhile before it gets here but if no one beats me to it I'll let ya know.

I saw that kit at TF Safari. I've bought other GX Studio (or Go Better Studio, or whatever they want to call themselves) and I've been quite happy. They do a good job painted/color matching, and although the parts are 3D-printed they're using a better printer than I own (or others like Matrix Workshop and Ratchet Studio) because you can barely tell on a lot of the parts. I like the way this kit handles the new wings; if I'd see this kit first I'd probably have bought it but I already got Nonnef's.

 

Yeah, it looks awesome. Love the new back piece, brings it even closer to the MP.

Only thing is, how do I order from TF Safari? I can't add anything to my cart

 

I have the opposite problem; sometimes I accidentally add things to my cart when I'm just trying to look.

Are you on a mobile browser or a computer? I'm using Chrome on a Windows 10 PC, and if I type "Wheeljack" into the search I'll see a few products. If I hover my mouse over the GX kit a red "add to cart" will pop up. Alternatively, on the actual product page for the GX kit under the price there's a buttons for changing the quantity and a red and white "Add to cart" button.

On mobile (Chrome for Android) if I type Wheeljack into search I'll see a few products, all of them with a red "add to cart" button. If I go to the product page it looks the same as on desktop, just laid out differently. Scrolling down a bit reveals the "add to cart" button.

One caveat, I've ordered from them a couple of times so I've already got an account I'm signed in with. I don't remember if you need to do that first or not. Also, I don't know if they have limits on what countries they sell too, but I'm in the US if that helps.

 

Yeah, I'm in the US and using Firefox on Android. I did make an account too.

 

I have this set and installed with my Jacky.

For robot mode, Overall I like this set, new wing, gap filling part and new gun make him looks better.

New parts not effect with transformation process, only problem I found is the gap filling for lower leg is pop out easily.

Car mode not change from the original.
Only one thing is change is new spolier has no wording as the old part.

My problem for this set is some of wheel in car mode not landing well on ground after install this set cause car not rolling well, I’m not sure which step of installation I done wrong or not.

Overall I like this upgrade set, I take some shots of Jacky with new parts, please let me share.

Got this set in yesterday and I gotta say that the leg fillers work much better than I expected them to. Not using the spoiler or gun since I'm also using the nonnef upgrades, kind of surprised they didn't throw in a filler for the fists too

 

I just received mine from TF Safari and I like it quite abit.
The only real problems are that the Shoulder Cannon does not peg in very solidly, but it's fine.

And then I've already applied the Toyhax labels, so the spoiler is plain. Although mine does look smoother than the one in the pics above.

I'm going to try to detach and re-apply the Toyhax lables to this spoiler. Although they for sure won't fit perfectly because this spoiler does a cool folding thing.

I've got this kit. It's a solid upgrade kit. I don't have any issues with the shoulder cannon pegging in. The leg fillers will make ground clearance of the wheels not work(no rolling around in car mod with them in...) Other than that, the spoiler with hidden wings is awesome. I love it way more than how it came in stock form. The tail lights are great too.

 

Got mine in too the other day. Great little kit!

 

Think they'll do an exhaust version? or is the white close enough?

I don't know. They probably have a Weibo page, but I can't use that site.

 

For this exact reason, I wish they'd just sell the leg fillers as a separate set since that's all I need. Probably not worth it for them, so I can get why.
