Nice! I just decided to cancel the BBTS order and get them at Amazon since it was slightly cheaper and I want these ASAP because I love Beast Wars so much!

 

Man it's so nice to smoothly preorder the whole wave on Amazon with no payment due and no spinning wheel of death while other sites wont load and you are getting cart jacked.

Oh, and I was browsing some older figures I've passed on Amazon, and I see they're gouging the price on Crosshairs, who I always debate about picking up.

And yes, though people always deny it when I bring it up, it is indeed Amazon directly charging over the retail price:

 

Got the deluxes on the hope that the price will drop some time between now and release. If not, I'll cancel them and try to find them cheaper elsewhere.

 

So if the deluxes drop to 20 between now and release and we preordered them at 23, Amazon will match the lowest price the preorder hits? Or do we have to cancel and reorder?

 

Amazon randomly does that when their algorithm fails or the msrp wasn't entered right.

 

They adjust the preorder to match the lowest price. That's what the "preorder price guarantee" is.

 

Got Primal, Megs, and Rattrap on Amazon. Hoping Optimus really does come earlier in February like it says as opposed to the March date of the others. Went elsewhere for the deluxes (Ent Earth) to avoid the price hike. Also got core Optimus on Pulse just as a test to see which retailer gets these things first

 

Aaaand the deluxes are still $20 at Target. Preordered there, dropped them here.

They put a temporary hold on your card when you order, but they don't actually charge for the item(s) until they're shipped.

I paid $174.66 (￥ 18,383).

 

The “temporary” hold dings your card continuously every few days until it ships. And if you don’t have the amount in your account when it dings Target automatically and fully cancels the order

 

I ordered them from Pulse but canceled for Prime as well. Much better shipping on Amazon compared to Hasbro using Fedex Smartpost.
