He looks simple to me. Not in a bad way. Like an intuitive way. He looks like he'll transform like Sunstreaker rather than Mp44. Lots of clever tricks, clean, smart, and not overly complex for no apparent reason

Totally not an accident, wont be surprise if these is teasing an unofficial Gerwalk transformation, the seekers never had one in the show. Maybe part of the reason his feet look a little bigger than they necessarily need to be. I normally don't order doubles as I pick up repaints, but I'm tempted to get one to display with my Valks if he's capable of full gerwalk.

I'm not a fan of modern "Masterpiece" but this Starscream looks OUTSTANDING. Hope not to see common QC issues of modern "Masterpiece". Will need to wait for proper review.

Looks good but the chest is a bit bloated. The price scares me as much as the quality control. Takara need to upgrade their plastics and tolerances.

I\'m cool with my 3P Meteor for Screamer--but I\'ll probably pull the trigger on Skywarp and T-cracker for this mold.

I was not expecting the jet mode to look so amazing. Wow. Only (minor) quibble I have is the undercarriage has that weird bump around the chest area. Again, not that big of a deal. The undercarriage is surprisingly clean for a jet bot. I'm not much of a cartoon accuracy guy but the robot mode looks great too.

Oh wow, what a huge news day this is!!

Starscream looks fantastic! I'm very excited about this one, as I love the existing MP jets and I'm looking forward to having some that are much better articulated in bot mode!

A heavy hitter up there with the likes of MP-36 & 44. Simply incredible!
Gerwalk mode brought me so much Macross / Robotech nostalgia.

I remember back when MP-13 was the unanimous MP champion... Cannot imagine how amazing his V2 will be after this.

Is it just me, or does it look like they’re going back to the more traditional masterpiece style? That vehicle mode looks really detailed, with a lot of panel lines. The robot mode is also pretty cartoon accurate, and looks pretty good from all angles.

Looking good. I could have done without the nose cone radar feature again, but that’s my only quibble.

It’ll be nice to have him in hand.

Not much to contribute that hasn’t already been said...I love him! I like that the intakes are adjustable, and that the jet has panel detailing (because I’m so tired of seeing people complain about “plain” MPs). Very, very promising!

Aw come on. For it's time, he was like "the" Seeker standard. Just look at it as a part of the design's engineering evolution.

What I'm worried though is Takara making them more affordable for the other two knuckle heads Skywarp and Thundercracker. Make them a mainline sell (avoid any "gimmicked accessories" or just make those freebies exclusive to like Amazon JP the way the Dtasun bros had those launchers, pile divers and energon cubes, hand drill and banana crate) and avoid the MP Hound ABS/PVC recipe.

Afterburner flame effect accessories? Can't think of any other reason to have (5mm?) ports inside the nozzles:

I would've preferred the nose-cone be swappable between blue and grey, rather than include the details underneath, but not a huge deal.
Also I find the thumbs are set at a bit of a weird angle.

That's it, that's my complaints. Am I fitting in now tfw2005?

If they aren't included I hope at least those holes are compatible with MP-27's flame effects.

The intakes coming forward is a really nice feature, as @chchchch and others spotted. For a sec I thought it was actually the head sliding back, but as @Paco Grande pointed out you can clearly see that it's the intakes that move.

I guess they can slide back to allow more range for the head.

This all looks amazing. My only wish for this right now is to have awesome alternate faces, and to have decent longevity. Fingers crosed.
