Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out so please correct me if I'm not the first, are we gonna be getting Gears and Inferno?

 

Beast Wars Megatron was way taller than Primal in the cartoon. The toys were the same size.

 

That is beautiful. My biggest hope for Primal was a good sculpted fur pattern, rather than the smooth surface of the MP.

But seriously where are you getting this ? I missed the Kingdom part of the livestream. Did I miss confirmation. People said no new news on the ark here. If its a robot, that sucks though.

 

@Onslaught24 -- there should be a minor correction to the news post - Rachel mentioned there will be 16 "golden disk" collector's cards available in the line, not 26.

 

Damn, color me impressed! Everything in the line looks awesome. Aside from the Core class Prime and I want them all. I'm especially impressed with the Beast Wars figures, Megatron and Primal look incredible! I love the
Fossilizers and I can't wait to see more of the figures from that poster properly like Tracks, Huffer, Pipes and that sweet-looking Ark Titan!

So, I wasn't expecting to see so much today. Lots of awesome stuff shown off, love the new packaging and revamped Maximal and Predacon symbols. I don't really have any hot takes on the designs or anything, I'm just overjoyed that Beast Wars is back again. The skeleton guys look super cool and I can't wait to see the rest of them.

The humanoid form of the Ark is the Last Autobot / Autonomous Maximus. I don't care what they officially decide to call him, that's who he'll be to me.  

Really hyped to see more and I'm gonna keep my hopes up for a Tarantulas of some kind.

 

We’re def getting a Kingdom G1 inferno since we have a listing for it. No listing or room for kingdom gears. Probably scrapped along with kingdom polar claw. (Apollux mentioned a toy only beast wars character being scrapped which we now know is polar claw)

I wouldn't be surprised if they litter them with some of the core names for this and the post-Kingdom line. You know... Ironhide, Soundwave, the Seekers, Prowl... that sort of thing. I doubt they'll ever get to the smaller guys.

Hasbro does keep an eye on 3p though. Have for years. It's interesting to me that years ago they started with Legends class that was pretty much exactly this. Eventually Legends shifted to just the sub-Deluxe characters like Bumblebee and the Insecticons. And when that started to happen, 3p went nuts at the 3.5 inch scale, doing tons of characters at more affordable price points (though still super expensive for what you're getting) compared to CHUG-scale, which they mostly abandoned, and Masterpiece. Now they're doing those sub-deluxe characters characters as small-deluxes-with-accessories (maybe all of them again eventually?) and have brought back Core class to be largely classic characters and characters like Rattrap you really couldn't do as a small-deluxe.

I kind of wonder if Hasbro is considering a 3.5 inch scale "fork" of a line at a $7-$12 price point now that deluxe is moving up into the $23 range, with probably Voyager hitting $35 before long. If so, this could be the test of it.

Ok you got me. I was wrong. I never look at box art because most of it it goes in the recycling bin. But in true Kingdom style, the decision not to make it transform into a playset blows monkey balls. Speaking of that, what is hiding behind Primal's "skirt" in ape mode ?
