In all seriousness, I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’ll be fine. These Kingdom reveals and TF Prime reissues today have me insanely happy. I’m sure they reveal even more good stuff next time.

As much as I'd like to watch the Peter Cullen/Frank Welker one it's already almost 1 in the morning here. I need to sleep...

 

But why though? Wasn't PulseCon basically "Eh, NYCC is gonna be online. Might as well make our own online event and have people focus solely on us." I see no reason to make movie fans wait for NYCC to finally get any news when they were fully capable of revealkng it themselves.

In all seriousness too, I am so excited for that BW Megatron, Optimus, Rattrap, and Blackarachnia and the Prime Breakdown reissues. Plus that RED Arcee looks fantastic (aside from the fact that the pink gold highlights are gold for some god forsaken reason)

 

I’m just simply taking a guess as to what event Hasbro is going to be at next. NYCC is just the first thing that came up.

 

Just checked, NYCC online is October 8-11. That’s not too far away! I also read that NYCC is combined with MCM comic con for this year, and I remember SS reveals being there in the past. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much, but that’s possible for SS reveals.

 

Well lets just hope this is it.

 

Then all movieverse stuff is canceled forever and they will send agents to come get the figures we already have so they can burn them. Duh.

 

First one that I remember and could transform on my own was Transmetal Dinobot and Cheetor.
I still have Dinobot.

 

You laugh but that legitimately is what Harmony Gold wanted to do with the SDCC Skystriker/Jetfire plane some years back.

 

I’m honestly not too disappointed in the reveals with the advent of Beast Wars and Prime being given a good amount of attention. It’s always good seeing Hasbro acknowledge stuff besides G1 and the films.

Plus, we know stuff’s coming. We’ve seen the listings. We have Grindor, Dino, Jolt, Sideswipe, and probably many others to look forward to. It’s just a matter of waiting.

 

Every single time we get reveals, it's always something that isn't to do with Movie Studio Series. It has been 7 months since movie fans got SS reveals and I think it's just that we have to wait a long time for new SS reveals whereas G1 fans get to see new things constantly. I don't hate G1 but it's tiring seeing the same old stuff.

EDIT: I forgot about the events in October. Hopefully we'll see something there!

 

An old bot with a decommissioned aircraft mode, Highbrow sure feels like he's meant to be one of the Ancient Seekers, even if he wasn't ever officially made one.





While not decrepit like Ransack and Jetfire, Highbrow still feels 'old' by looking like something out of a WWII-era comic book.


The guns go really nicely with Starscream. In fact their essentially his now, Highbrow only had them back for the photos here.




This has got to be of the most ambitious --and cleanest-- aircraft attempted by a TF.

To be fair, it wasn’t just G1 today. We got some Beast Wars and Transformers Prime REISSUES (I never expected TFP to get more toys much less reissues).

All I can say is let’s just wait until the next event. It’s safe assume Studio Series will have a bit of a presence at the next event. I don’t think movie fans should be freaking out.

 

I just hope NYCC @home will be the one. I mean it's too soon to reveal wave 2 Kingdom, right?

It is a bit disappointing that no Studio series was reveal. But no matter, We will just have wait longer. At least I can bask over the awesomeness of Kingdom.

 

Studio series got the short end of the stick despite the awesome 86 leaks...

 

Yes I still have him (with many more childhood transformers), but he is now my 3 year old son favourite toy (along with G1 Grimlock and Sludge) :-D
