You had been strangely quiet considering you started the thread, I thought it was strange we hadn't heard none of your opinion on this, now we know how you really feel :lol

Yeah think? With the amount of engineering going on here seems like ample opportunity for poor QC to rear it’s head....

Is it just me, or is his head further back between the shoulder intakes in this pic?

I appreciate TT’s efforts creating complete transformations without parts forming but personally I would have preferred the null rays to not have have those ugly armatures. They are much bulkier than the MP-11 version and really wrecks the underside of the wing. I think it’s ok to have the weapons parts form in this case.

Other than that I think the alt mode looks awesome and I can’t wait to own this figure. The bot mode is just fantastic and light years beyond MP-11.

I also can’t wait for the usual suspects to start digibashing these new photos!

Robotech? Weird. Isn't that supposed to say Macross?

I jest, but I literally burst out laughing at the gerwalk mode. Not because it looks bad, but because it can actually do it.

(*seriously hopes Harmony Gold doesn't blow a gasket over the fact that Masterpiece Starscream 2.0 can do a gerwalk mode*)

(Seriously, screw Harmony Gold. They are the scum of the earth. )

Takara really knocked it out with this one, Ill happily re-buy the seeker trio in this mold. Hopefully the QC and engineering are a few notches above some recent efforts.

I believe the shoulder vents are adjustable by folding on a little armature. Most likely for transformation but you can most likely use the joint to position them forward or back.

Note the difference in these pics.

Oi Oi Savaloy!!! glorious! :D  comparing the 2 jet modes although more refined in places this don't offer up much different than mp11 infact i actually prefer the look of mp11 :)  but that robot mode is pure win ! :D  only gripe i wish the head was slightly smaller

Bot mode front view and jet mode top view are great. Not sure about everything else. I'll wind up getting one for sure, but keeping my Maketoys trio.

Clever use of that plate covering the fake canopy, as flight stand plug in both jet and bot mode. But that armature is ugly.

Now that I’ve seen the jet canopy it’s more obvious why they chose the fake canopy for the bot mode chest. It’s not just the bulge from the side profile that changes shape. The canopy is also a pretty consistent width in jet mode, but in bot mode it’s wider at the top and narrower at the bottom to make it look more like a chest. I think it looks awesome and it’s really cool that the jet canopy is right behind the bot one so you can still see the pilot seat through both layers of clear plastic.

The only thing I don’t like about it is the saggy diaper in the back, especially when looking head-on. It totally kills his sleek look in robot mode when you can see that kibble between his legs. I wish that could be slid up more.

Outside of that, he’s pretty much perfect.

I'm definitely in. A waist swivel would be a great bonus.
