I’m 100% in on FT. I’m not a fanboy, but I love what they’re doing for the MP culture. Let me get that out of the way. Now that back kibble... Chigurh did a better job there, but I already see Fanstoys getting the pass from fandom. “The kibble had to go somewhere”. Yet Haslab Unicron, MP-44, 45, etc., get shitted on for the same thing. I’m just saying tho....

Now, where the hell is my space choo-choo TFS???

Yeah, but you also "forgot" to mention a number of things related to Chigurh. He's not cartoon accurate in his bot mode, train mode, and even shuttle mode. He also has an element of partsforming.

The other figures you mentioned, they are not triple changers.

I mean, Earthrise Prime looks better than MP-44 backpack wise. Are we then to take that it's of superior quality?

    They get shit on because:
    1. They are more expensive. MP44 is basically double the price of FT44.
    2. They own the franchise.
    3. You gotta admit, Zeta pulled off their Unicron much better than Hastak did.

Chigurh has a lot going for it if you don’t care about toon accuracy, and I honestly think he looks cooler overall. I'm going in on FT because I hate that the panel piece of chigurh has nowhere to go in shuttle mode. That is enough of an issue for me to consider FTs when it definitely has a lot less interesting robotic surface detailing, and it seems like the gun might not even integrate into all modes just like FT Maverick. Booo

Thomas still looks good though in a bruiser way so hopefully it'll wow me a bunch in hand.

I just checked and the neck is fine. It's probably the angle of the photo that makes it look weird. The neck is on a swivel that can look up but not really down. All the joints are really stiff. The knees and shoulders are on ratchets, too.

Thanks! So he does not have this part from the prototype? From the pictures, it seems they might be down. 5E5E68C4-9611-473B-87C2-D482F00AC04A.png

Well, it does seem that FT knew that some people might not like it. They feature several back pictures proeminently for other products, and did not for Thomas. That’s the reason why.

I hear you. I personally mainly was thinking of his back wings more than anything. His legs also have some side kibble but in the end, it ain't hateful.

    Without a doubt.
That said, so long as everything tabs in and stays tabbed, it's fine with me. Not that bad looking imo. If anything it actually gives him some robotic details without being nothing but flat surface boxes. Being a bit hyperbolic but yeah.
