The largest ratchets that form Overload's shoulders/Devastator's hips will most likely break from too much pressure. Unscrewing each of the four screws on the backplate one full turn should fix the issue.

Yes, that's why I got all the UW sets, best of both worlds, (except Devastatrt sigh, who was merely a carboard box...), beautiful artwork, withh a flap to open and see the bots wonderfully displayed on the inside.

It'll be interesting to see how God Neptune is packed. I'm assuming it'll be one big brown box with a black slip cover. But who knows...

So who went and threw Long Haul in the mud lol
Also, could\'nt this figure be seen as \"false advertising\"? Cause multiple features shown on the box aren\'t even included. Like Scavengers back panels, pipes and missles. The gun on Devy\'s right wrist and Hightowers wires.

YES those are indeed the best of both worlds (I have several myself). As a kid I always loved seeing the toys though the window of the giftset and wondering how they turned into the big bad ass behemoth portrayed on the box art.

Dang it, I was planning on buying SS-69 just for the number but now if I want to get it I have to pay $500? I wouldn’t be surprised if Hasbro purposely gave the 69 spot to the most expensive character in the line.

The number is 69 and you DON'T include the Enemy Scrotum? Tsk tsk Hasbro very disappointed.

I'm a HUGE fan of G1 packaging BUT I don't think this style of packaging would be feasible with a lot of modern figures. It mostly comes down to size of the figures. If you want to include artwork for every figure and the combined mode artwork and a window for each figure in its alt-mode you'd have to make the box a bit larger. Back in the day, they also used styrofoam, which simplified things. Now its cardboard and that makes things trickier too.

I love those classic G1 combiner giftsets but let's not forget, those figures were super "rinky-dink." These modern boxes are pretty awesome too and I just think sometimes nostalgia gets the better of us.

The box would be waaaaaay too big if they were all spaced out with little windows. G1 combiners got away with it because the box had 5-6 small figures and a bunch of guns and combiner parts, and the extra space behind the picture of devy housed all those bits. SS devy is just a figure, the box would have to be a bunch of windows and nothing else. If it followed the G1 box design there’d be massive amounts of unused space and you'd end up with a box half the size of a door.
