Mine actually just shipped from my Target online order.

 

Well, this might explain Starscream getting clearanced out. They probably needed to make room for him.

 

Tht should be exciting (I pre-ordered as well). But My Starscream never showed up. I ended up buying 1 in store and getting a refund, so now I'm mildly afraid (and will grab one in person and do a return if I see one before mine arrives.

Funny thing is it was UPS. I thought USPS was the problem (I mean it is, but-).

 

The one month count down for $60 begins now....


I just grabbed Starscream for $75 yesterday.  I enjoy it at that price, I don\'t think I\'d feel the same for $150.

I have yet to see a Discounted MP Starscream. You guys are lucky.

 

Seems like the Masterpiece line is a failed line at general retail.  They are too expensive for regular people to give to their kids.  I think Megatron and Jazz are clogging up the shelves in TRU in Canada.  I honestly don\'t see Scorponok being restocked on Target shelves too long and Walmart won\'t carry something like that for long or at all.  Remeber, they clearanced out Siege Jetfire and Netflix Ultra Magus real quick.  I agree with some, they should make these either Amazon and/or Hasbro Pulse exclusives.  Nice to see these on retail shelves, but retailers do not like items to shelf warm too long.  

 

Nice, should be hitting TRU soon then. Hopefully I’ll get him on sale like Starscream.

 

I pre-ordered mine from Target on the same day it went up. Hopefully mine will ship soon, I cannot wait to add this to my Ratchet shelf.  

EDIT: Just checked my Target order and it now says "Preparing to Ship"!

 

Mine is showing "Preparing to Ship" on my Target orders page. Target is notoriously bad at shipping things with little regard to safeguarding packaging; using a box three times to large with not internal padding is the norm. If I get one that is smashed/destroyed hopefully I can find one in pristine shape on the shelf to exchange it with (I save most of my boxes). Looking forward to completing my Movie shelf for the Autobots. Hopefully it is a defect free release; getting tired of QC issues. So far no hits on popfindr or brickseek for stores within 50 miles.

why is everyone saying their target pre orders for him say preparing to ship??? Mine still says October first wtf

Mine hasn't shipped yet but while it does say preparing to ship, the ETA on mine still shows Oct 2 to Oct 7.

 

Then I doubt it’s going to ship lol mine still says I won’t get it till the first to the sixth and my doesn’t say preparing to ship

I’d love to find it early but I doubt it

 

You guys are insane if you think a figure like mpm starscream isn’t worth his original price tag. The only reason why he was discounted so quickly is to make room for another expensive figure (ratchet). Shelf space is extremely important for companies like this and honestly screamer and ratchet released way too close to each other. Target has no business selling collector figures like this...they’ll end up loosing too much in the long run. This is deff an online hasbro pulse, BBTS, megalópolis type of toy.

 

I’m not saying it’s bad, but it does have its flaws. For $150, it should be a bit more polished. At $75, I have no regrets and thoroughly enjoy it. I’m definitely more excited for Ratchet. So y’all need to stop buying them so we can all get a good price. Lol.

I think Target’s biggest issue was it’s two choices and that they were released so close together. The last time I was at Toys “R” Us, I was so close to picking up a MPM Jazz and Megatron. If I was forced to see them in person regularly, I’d have eventually broke down and bought them at full price.

Starscream has been done well in so many different size classes that the $150 was a big pill to swallow even for a good figure.

 

He really isn't considering the quality isn't really a huge step up from the original leader Starscream if it were made by today's standards of engineering. $75 is the perfect price tag. It's a glorified leader class with bland looking plastic and a bunch of molded detail that blends in because it lacks paint apps. Throw in some die-cast and call it a day.

No way in hell is that figure worth $150 when you can get behemoths like Scorponok or Omega Supreme for that much, you're just paying for the Masterpiece name with the MPM line.

 

I wish I could\'ve gotten Starscream for that cheap, but I\'m not mad I paid retail... I got it home and compared it with the old leader class (aka mpm1) and it really IS significantly better.

 

I fiercely disagree that this isnt a huge step up from the leader.
