For those that have extensively played with their MP-10V or any of it's color variants, has anyone else had this problem yet?

Trying to gauge whether or not to worry about my other copies of this figure.

 

No I have 3 copies of Optimus one is a parts bin... truck bumper cracked abs/grill cracked and I had the panel that covers the wheels crack. With one as spare parts I have 2 perfect copy’s with no further issues. Time will tell... one is for display only so I baby it.

Like a champ. The leg wheel covers are going to break again I’m ok with it I personally like it Better without them and might just remove them for a while

at the 50 price point it’s the same a leader class and x2 the figure. I have earthrise too and it reminds me of the G2 days with die cast OG Optimus and hero Prime. Eventually we will get a Better hasbro G1 Optimus (86 studio maybe) till then he’s the main for me. Just wish he had better forward range with the legs.

I'm going to see about maybe having someone 3D print me a replacement ankle rocker for my MP-10V Nemesis Prime.

Just not sure about where and how to make such a request.

I’m rather conflicted.

I had Siege Optimus, and ended up giving it to the grandkid. Not a perfect Optimus, but fairly satisfying.
I got ER Optimus, but pretty dissatisfying. Some of the decisions Hasbro made... I would have been happier if they just earth moded Siege and removed his arm kibble.

Then there’s MP10v. I’m tempted... but I already have MP10 / YotH.

Wouldn’t getting MP10v for my CHUGs be redundant?

 

Different aesthetics. I’d say that the quality of MP10v shines through and alt mode with the trailer is on a different level to ER OP and that ‘cheap’ trailer. You can have both or more than one OP which can help ensure no conflict.

I agree with your comments regarding Siege OP. It is a shame they couldn’t take the positives from Siege and ERise whilst eliminating the negative aspects. Overall I was happy with both. The scale works well with previous mainlines.

I would even say MP10v scales well with Siege /Earthrise but sadly Siege Megatron is marginally shorter when compared with MP10v (see below):


Could substitute OS Siege Megs to compensate but messes up using G-Creation Dinobots for me:

I keep MP10v in alt mode with the trailer. Very happy to have the figure as part of my collection.

Definitely not redundant. Your CHUGs need a worthy Leader. MP-10V is the only capable bot.

It's pretty good stuff. Only thing is that MP10V is too tall to scale well in robot mode with current Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom scale "Leader" class. (It's just barely a little taller than Generations Springer/Sandstorm & TFP Shockwave)

 

I disagree. Although it may not be scientifically exact as outlined by a G1 scale chart, IMO it scales nicely with the Siege/Earthrise figures you mentioned.

 

I agree that MP10V scales well with Siege/ER but only becomes an issue with Siege/ER Megs being marginally too short in bot mode. That can be overcome with getting a waist extender and/or hip extension for Megs. Apparently the waist extender on its own is perfect.

 

I’ve been using the BPF oversized Siege Megatron and he sizes well enough with MP-10V. He’s maybe a little bit too tall and bulky in comparison though. I had been using Zeta’s release of Hegemon with the old slippers upgrade kit and he actually sized perfectly with MP-10V, but the outdated sculpt of the head didn’t work for me.

 

Got this guy recently and all I can think about now is how badly I want a downsized MP Megatron. Sadly looks like they’re gonna take ten years to do something like that.

The vehicle mode scale is slightly awkward. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think a semi-truck should be bigger than a crane truck (ER Grapple). That’s a minor issue though.

 

The trailer comes with Spike to scale reference vehicles with. I have hegemon megatron for a G1 gun megatron he matches up perfectly. My only issue with his vehicle is the bumper on one of mine doesn’t tab flush. I could fix it but I don’t have time for custom stuff right now.

 

Definitely doesn't scale well with the Siege Ultra Magnus, though. Looks great together, but MP10V is just too tall for him.
