That feeling when 5 years ago is considered “back in the day” lol

Does anyone think we might get a second chance at the other combiners?I loved this line and I want a devastator, bruticus and computron, I mean I won't have enough money to get all three but still

Looks like he could be part of Transformers Earthrise.

My life was completely different 5 years ago.

That was also when I was still just getting into Transformers. CW (technically AOE with the Evasion Optimus) was really my gateway into Transformers collecting.

Hopefully it isn't rife with QC issues like the last Amazon exclusive sets. A Hasbro rep told me when I complained that Hasbro isn't responsible for Amazon Exclusive figures or anything wrong with them. She told me they don't stock replacements or parts on any Amazon Exclusive figures. I'd hate to drop that kind of money on Devastator to find that he's getting re-released because Amazon can cut corners at the manufacturing/assembly level.

I would be pretty surprised if the ultimate release turns out to be the worse CW version as opposed to UW. [My ideal Devastator from that era would be a mix of SDCC and UW parts.]

Amazon doesn’t make TF toys. What are you talking about?

I would knock you over, climb over your collapsed body, and then kick you away to get one. ;)

Funny timing on this one, an hour before the post's timestamp here I had to move my Devastator (I had laid him down on the bed while moving furniture earlier in the day and forgot to put him back), and when picking him up, I noted how incredibly nice it was to have a Titan figure that could stand on his own and be moved about with nary a concern. Such an awesome figure, I hope everybody who wants one can get one, it's worth picking up... and buying. ;)

(Yeah, that's right Metroplex, I'm bagging on you! You murderous thing, why won't you stand up?!)

Ooh I hope we get a US reissue too! I got the Undersized KO version but I really wanted the Titan class...he\'s just too expensive. The KO is nice for a KO but I am worried it\'ll shatter one day, plus Id just like my Devy Titan sized (being that he\'s 6 members I feel he should be bigger than other combiners, no matter what the scale chart purists say). Really hope this works out.

I still think he's awesome, even if he's got some issues. I have the JP version and it's one of my favorite transformers ever

Ha, I was just looking at mine yesterday thinking how perfect he is for the new “Classics 2020” siege/earthrise/kingdom/ss86 run.

I’ve had my fair share of disappointments in terms of missing out on first runs, so I don’t mind sharing that I picked up CW Devastator when he was first released for $60 brand new by finding him on the shelf, paying with a TRU card, and an employee offering me his discount.

Do you think they will still retail for $150 like the first one?
