So, funny story... I was checking my pre-orders on AJ last month because I couldn't remember if I PO'd Tigatron or not. Turns out I did, but I had mistakenly ordered from a 3rd party seller who was going to charge me a boat load (pun intended) for shipping. Well, I immediately placed another order directly from AJ and messaged the seller from the first one I ordered saying I wanted to cancel. They messaged me back saying it wasn't possible to cancel my preorder (which I call BS on, but wasn't surprised), so I figured I would just end up with 2 and have to sell one once they came in. Well, today I got a message from the seller of the first one I ordered saying that due to coronavirus they weren't able to fulfill my order to me and would be cancelling it! I'm glad I checked a month ago because if that was the only one I ordered thinking it was from AJ, and got that message this close to release, I'd be pissed! I'm actually quite relieved and am anxiously awaiting my Tigatron which should arrive next week. I just checked my credit card and my payment to AJ is pending!
Tigatron is a fatty. That transformation video was neat. Looks pretty straightforward with lots of folding. An almost price-justifyingly high amount of folding. Can't wait to get him in.
Im sure I missed something - what is with the extra Megatron head? Is there an episode/scene I'm not recalling?
There was a super duper accurate hacking scene where Tigatron breaks into the predacon computer to find info on the golden disk. It involved a Megatron rubix cube.
In the episode when goes into virtual reality in the preds computer. It's the puzzle he solves that turns into Megatron's head.
I have a very strong aversion to watching transformation videos before I get it in hand. I always do my first transformation fully blind, no instructions of any sort. I was skipping ahead just to see if he had any nice shots at the end as he talked about it. But the WHOLE video is transformation and I saw a bunch of different shots of it midway. Seems much more involved that I would have expected, which is exactly what I like in a transformation.
I’m sooo ready for this! My first ever Tigatron. Hopefully it will arrive before I’ve moved house. I’ve transferred all my Beast Wars MPs to a deeper shelf now to fit everyone in and set a white piece of card down so Tigatron can arrive straight onto a snowy display. Unless I’ve had to box up everything before he gets here... I’d totally forgotten about the Megatron Rubik’s Cube! Such a random accessory but the more the merrier.
This is a great looking figure, and I'm glad people who want it can get it...but I'm looking forward to the Kingdom version for budget reasons. GET HYPE.
Saw the transformation and it's totally different from Cheetor. But I can see a few design elements that are like him. The way the transformation flows is smooth but nothing crazy. It's a much better Beast Mode than Leo Convoy and the bot mode is well done. Good stuff. I still like how they made him bigger than Cheetor and yet he's so different as a whole. This is looking to be a very good MP since BW Megatron.
I'm so glad everyone share my feeling , love the transformation! I have been messing with him a lot between modes, take photo and posing and stuffs. It's a more enjoyable transformation , more than Dinobot , BA, cheetor and Megatron. It's on par with Hound if only it has sturdier plastic
