I’ve been away for this thread from many months now, but saw a listing for an accessories pack for this figure and became curious again. Last I knew he was released but I couldn’t get ahold of one, and he seemed like the best movie prime yet but the abs were a bit weird.

would anyone be willing to let me know of any big updates? Re-issues, alternate versions, is that accessory pack a real thing and/or worth the money?

Oh boy, you have missed some stuff. Suggest you go look for the Wei-Jaing dram thread to read up on how the third party scene just imploded. No more WJ, no more Black Apple. No more of these Primes sadly.

 

Like AtomicLad said, sadly Black Apple is gone (in prison) and the vast majority (if not all) of the pre-orders were cancelled. Now the figure's price has sky rocketed. I've seen him on sale for as much as $600.

Are you referring to the chest or head upgrade kits? I have both coming in now, but from what I have seen they really add to the figure.

It’s a very touchy subject when it comes third party merchandise and deserved legal action, so I’ll check out that thread to see what people’s opinions are on it.

On topic, I decided that given I've already crossed the partsforming threshold with the head upgrade, I'm going to try the @JohnnyGundam chest mod  . I'll post the result tomorrow
