I think they originally came out 7-8 years ago? They just arrived at my doorstep today. There's a Chinese eBay seller that still has the trio of Alpha Trion, Arblus, and Kranix for sale at a decent price.

That's an earlier run of Road Hog/Wreck-Gar with the articulated fingers. It's too bad the new ones went with a simpler design, but at least they can hold their gun properly.

I wasnt aware that there was a difference in releases of wreck-gar; mine has the crazy articulated fingers and so does #2 in the junkion releases that i have; cant recall his name or 3p name...  
So i guess that means that i have v1 of both?

 

I dunno how many releases they did of the v1 Junkions. I believe there was a + version that had metallic paint. Any of the 4 new Junkions and the re-issues of the first two this year will have the simplified hands.

I don’t really collect third party figures but I actually kinda want to pick this one up. How’s he feel in hand?

 

He feels exactly like a metal build Gundam. Plastics feel decent enough in that they won't break like MP-47 Hound, however there are some really thin joints that one would need to be careful about. Has that matte/chalky feel for paint (save for the die-cast feet). The knee joints are a bit weak and make it difficult to pose given how back heavy the wings are. The feet could have really used some wider range of articulation, both tilt in/out and up/down, to help with the stability.
