Hey! Did anyone notice that a reissue of these is scheduled for this summer? Are these worth $200 in 2021??? I want a reflector!

They're pretty good if you like the look. I still have my set and they still represent fine on my shelf. If you can't get the FT's or perhaps the XT (which I have heard good things about) they are, IMO very much worth it.

Obviously the cheaper the better but I wouldn't have a huge issue paying that for the set.

I have all three of the MP reflectors and if you like to transform your figures, this will hold up the best.

Even then, $200 is a stretch for this set.

I agree with you and like I said, the cheaper the better here! Still I think even if FT's reissues, it will cost a fortune and XT has reissued theirs already. If he really wants an MP Reflector, I'm thinking this is his best chance unless he wants to pay more and try for the other sets. I don't see anyone else making another MP Reflector so I guess it comes down to a "What's it worth to you" situation.

I have this set and I think they’re totally serviceable. Fun to transform, mine hold poses well, and though I kinda think they look the weakest of the Reflector options out there, I have come to learn that from a distance of 3 feet or greater, it stops mattering which MP is on my shelf when it comes to simply looking at my collection.

I love the MT Reflector. Overall look—in terms of style & sculpt—fits my preferences more than the XTB or FT.

In terms of deco it leaves a bit to be desired. Color choices were less than perfect here.

Transformation is fun & repeatable. I haven't messed with the XTB or FT versions, but the consensus seems to be that this one has the most enjoyable transformation. (I also love the way the lens is incorporated brilliantly & without parts forming.)

All in all, I'm still glad I chose this set b/c I don't love the look of the other two. It'd be neat if they released a redeco that had more toon-accurate colors.

Yeah, these guys would be the best version hands down if they had made them blue and gray rather than purple and white. The transparent green chests with silver backing totally pop though, and make up for it quite a bit. Much nicer on a shelf than just green paint. Engineering on them is terrific and the little digital camera details on the top are terrific, if admittedly not very 1980s.

For the $80 I paid, still very satisfied with them.

Best Reflector set in the market IMO.

If the colors were updated to more closely match the KFC set I think they'd be worth it. I ended up re-buying this set when it was cheap and got rid of KFCs as I felt like the sculpt on that one was just too ugly (just like FT Spotter). But the colors on this set do bug me.

Love them, but admit the Toyhax set is a must. Would likely buy again if they ever released an enhanced set that better matched toon colors.

And would seriously eyeball a set that came out in toy colors, with corresponding heads.

Pretty sure it's a random restock of sorts.

BTW if anyone still wants him, $150 at BBTS.

I bought mine on sale, and they were a great pick at the time. Full price, given the times, it's still a good option.

Finally got around to transforming these dudes (after who knows how many years!) and stickered them up with the toyhax set:

I actually don't recall where the second smallest camera (the one to the front left of Visualizers' lens) is from. The smallest came with NA reflector, and the one next to it came with Visualizer.

Ah, it might be that. I just found it strange that both BBTS and TFSource have listing up at the same time.

I suppose I should email Source and ask since BBTS can take forever to respond lol.

Yeah, they seem to have a lot of the same stuff in stock or on restock, which is definitely odd, haha.

Either way, i'm glad BBTS undercut Source by $50. These guys are gonna be my bot mode Reflector set. Got KFC's both for alt-mode and the mini Reflector so I have one for MP Thundercracker to use when he comes out.

I'm really happy about that $50 undercut too.

I put my PO in at BBTS and emailed TFSource asking if this was a proper reissue or just a restock.

It's weird that all the headmaster are up too. Chromedome looks like crap but the others seem like good figures.

I couldn't give a single fuck about G1 Chromedome (IDW Domey is my BOI by comparison), but I couldn't say no to $50 from BBTS. And Hardhead I actually did want, so kind of a win-win if I say so myself, haha.

Legit the other Maketoys stuff on both is legit to a T to the fact that I have some thoughts, haha.

Just snagged a set of MT Visualizers off eBay for about $130 including shipping. They look brand new and I saved $25. Plus I got a set of KFC Opticlones on the way from BBTS. Couldn't decide between the two, so why not both?
