I justified the Premium membership for this event by getting a bunch of items. 7 items bought, so it would be distributed as about $7 extra per item. Seeing as shipping is free and I'm not on eBay being gouged this evening, Premium membership has already paid for itself big time.

Nevermind... it was sold out earlier and now I see a preorder on it.

 

Walmart has ship dates for kingdom wave 1 and RED wave 2 in their system now.

All of kingdom wave 1 besides the leaders have a February 1st ship date.

The leaders have a March 2nd ship date.

RED wave 2 has a March 2nd release date as well.

 

I’ve been a fan of Transformers for sometime now (36 years) and of course Hasbro for the same amount of time. My collection is pretty great in my opinion. When I saw this was being made it made me extremely happy. I thought it would be released for possibly $30. I would be happy to buy 2 for $50 a piece and open one to play with and leave the other in that case because it just looks cool. I thought about getting Pulse Premium just to make sure I could get one of these but in my opinion it is not worth $119.99 plus tax. And remember I LOVE transformers and this movie REALLY meant something to me.

Last night I said I need to make sure to log in to Pulse to get one today at 12:00 Pacific time. But unfortunately work took over my day. Sometimes being a grown up is no fun... especially when it prevents me from getting the toys I really want to play with!

I just would like to know why Hasbro is making it so difficult for the true fans and for the ones of us who just want to play to obtain this and still be able to enjoy the normal things we do in this short life. Hasbro could definitely make a couple more of these and maybe a few more Siege Skywarps.

Same here. After all the hassle, I finally got the order in, and was immediately charged. I emailed them to find out why. It's too bad thier system for placing orders wasn't as efficient as their system for taking our money.

 

Despite the shit show, this was better than the Target exclusive online orders for the GI Joe classified Cobra Island figures.

 

5:50pm ET and the Pit is still available.

 

it isn't. It says "Pre-order" on the item page and allows adding to cart, but at checkout the cart says "sorry, sold out, you cart has been adjusted."

It's Pulse. I don't expect it to work for me. they still list the Centurion drone for sale (tho marked sold out) even tho that also sold out within a few hours on first day of pre-orders.

It basically for me came down to the fact that I'll likely end up spending at least $50 on shipping anyway, so I might as well pay out now and get the few perks. Plus I've heard they're rebranding a little with the membership and introducing a point system someday, so I might as well get in on that now as well. But clearly it was worth it, because trying to check out with a few hundred other people yesterday obviously went a lot smoother than trying to check out with a few thousand at the same time today.

Nope. Second time I've had something show up as available when it's not, which is frustrating. But, I also have a mental block on pre-orders selling out. Isn't a pre-order where they get a headcount so they order the correct amount from the factory? I'm starting to really hate this part-time job - I mean - hobby.

Exclusive just means it's only available from one source. Are you actually saying you prefer that fewer fans have the opportunity to own this for a decent price?

 

Your first mistake is thinking it’d be $30. Not for a $30 figure, a $20 figure, and a $10 figure with a couple small figurines.

While I feel for you when it comes to availability, these were FAR easier to obtain than SDCC exclusives, as they usually sold out within minutes... some things even last only seconds. With this, you had the opportunity all day yesterday to get them (with a $50 premium surcharge) and an hour and a half today, based on the post times here. Here’s how I feel about Pulse Premium. I could change my own oil on my car to save money, but why not just pay someone to do it for me so I have less hassle? I’ll gladly pay extra money for something if it means less hassle. In this case, eBay will end up more expensive than what you would have paid with pulse premium.

Also, Siege Skywarp was readily available to preorder or buy for three whole months.

 

I don't think the exclusives were listed as predorders yesterday - you could pay through PayPal and on Pulse that's only for in-stock items.
