I think Dinobot II deserves his own new figure eventually but this might be a cool trick if they can pull it off.

With all due respect, I’m amazed someone could know what dinozaurs are, but not Optimus Primal.

 

I don't know if it was a conscious design choice, but I find it quite ironic that Paleotrex has an alternate T-rex mode with tiny arms and a bot mode with really huge ones.

 

If they painted them in dark plain colours, with metallic/Transmetal details, I think the skeletal toys might look more interesting.

He grows on me a little bit more every time I see him, but my gosh does he need a gun.

 

I really like him, but putting other figures on chicken stilts is ridiculous, and not in a good way.

I do expect fans to come up with better uses of the legs, maybe as arm claws.

Idk man. Transforming dinosaur fossils you can take apart and plug onto your other transformers? I think there’s def a market for them for the younger audience. If not, I’ll def be collecting multiples of them so don’t worry.

 

If Weaponizers, which are nobodies that turn into robots doing yoga poses, sold well, I don't see why "nobodies that turn into skeleton dinosaurs" will flop.

 

Now that we have a skeletal system transformer, I now want a meat suit transformer that can stretch around this guy.

 

Believe me I'm sure a 3rd party company will get right on that need along with giving us more BW related upgrade sets that's likely to come in the future for Kingdom figures.

 

I wanna see a custom made where someone sculpts and paint decaying flesh still clinging to the bones like a revenant of days gone by

 

It's a skeletal Tyrannosaur robot, what's NOT to love about that! He (or she?) Looks like they'd fit right in during Beast Wars! I love how we are at least getting a puff of fresh air in a sea of slavish G1. When's the last time we got a generations figure that wasn't based on an existing character, MM base or titan companion?

 

Eh easy pass, but I do really dig the face mask gimmick.
