I used Magten for my custom but I bought 36+ as well.

 

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but can anyone look at this and tell me if it looks legit or not? I'm really hoping to find an Authentic MP-36 (I know, ironic I'm posting in the KO thread), and I would appreciate a second opinion on this. They have good feedback and they say its authentic, but I've only ever ordered a Transformer from China once so I'm quite unexperienced.

Seems like a KO, they always use that picture for the listings.

Anytime it says "no box" I assume its a KO.

 

Thank you guys. I had another member say something similar in the China ebayers thread so for now I'm holding off. If you guys have a good recommendation for a solid KO of MP-36 please let me know, I don't mind a KO so long as it saves me money and its not going to break or fall apart with normal use.

 

Are you wanting a 1:1 KO, meaning its an exact copy of the MP-36 with pre-applied emblems? Or are you ok with a 3rd party like THF or IT? They are the same exact mold, but with improvements. But you have to buy and apply your own deception emblems. I posted some comparison/review videos a page or two back and discussed the differences

 

Honestly I'm open to either. I watched some 1:1 KO reviews a few months back and at the time I don't think they were that great. I've been looking at the THF version this morning and I'm thinking that may very well end up being my first 3P figure.

That being said if the regular KOs are pretty close to the Takara, I may do one of them. I think I prefer the matte look of the Takara over the gunmetal of THF, and I'll be honest I'd rather get a copy with the decepticon logo already on it, but if I have to apply my own stickers it's not a deal breaker.

 

THF was my favorite of the bunch when I watched the reviews too. The details on the mold appeared much sharper, and I like the paint applications on it. Plus IT has started having issues with the plastic yellowing.

I'm interested but tf-direct has it for $75, so I was actually looking on there. Never used them before so I'm not sure how reputable they are. Regardless of where I buy it, it'll be another week because I want to wait on my next paycheck, but if that time comes and I decide to grab it from you, I'll definitely hit you up.

 

Sounds great! Yes, I believe TF-Direct is reputable, but they ship from China. So it could arrive in two weeks, or two months! LOL. I ship from the US so you'd have it in two days. Just hit me up in a PM if want mine.

 

I'm confused. Why was this moved to the KO MP-36 thread when it was specifically discussing the KO MP-44?

 

TF Direct are legit if you are worried, bought from them and I live in Europe and had no issues with delays.

 

Verified Takara ones are twice that, I wouldnt trust getting an original for that.

Saying that though in quality terms I found the THF as good if not better than my original.

 

Has anyone got any advice for how to loosen the part of the chest that you rotate and push into his face? It goes up just fine but getting it to come down is so hard I cracked one of the removable chest plates. Ideally this joint would be FLOPPY. How can I make it so?

 

Chiming in to voice agreement / support for getting the THF. Bought one years ago for $60 shipped from TF-Direct and couldn't be happier with what I received.

 

Ordered mine a few days ago, but it hasn't moved since the 22nd after it arrived at the airport (still in China). Hopefully this isn't a sign that it went missing, I've never had a package get caught up for this long without updates.

 

Anyone have ideas or solutions to fix a loose back barrel on my IT-01 Megs?

Without the back panel it just falls back a bit. With it on it stand mostly straight.

I tried a search to no avail.

 

I’m still sad they canceled the cheap version. I REALLY wanted a movie battle damage version and I’d had no problem chopping him up.

 

I bought the THF-03 Dynastron and, sadly, there are some issue like this: loose joints, red saber, red eyes in G1 head and trasparent triangle on chest painted in silver. Aaaaaaaaand, i can't transform it because some parts doesn't close well.

 

Where did you buy yours from? Mine's coming in Monday from TF-Direct and hopefully mine isn't a dud
