No individual bot from TFC should be $200 since they are shit.

Cause I was interested and wanted to see the price since it was not announced when the pics were released. Is that ok with you?!

So you were interested and then because you didn’t like the price everything they make is shit? How about them last 3 years of quality figures?

I didn’t realise it was compulsory to leave a comment upon finding out the price.

Is this a new rule or specific to this thread only?

Not going to comment on the $ 200 part, but last year I bought the TFC S.T. Commander (camo version).

It is without a doubt the absolute best TF related figure I got that year, and that included competition from official MP, MMC (MP and reformatted), several legends, some siege, and I don't know what else. Somewhere between 20 and 30 figures, and it left them all behind in a good way.

The figure is incredibly well built, good plastic, good joints, a nice transformation, a lot of accessoires, many possibilities for display and play...Just incredibly good. Considering my previous experience with TFC (Hercules, Uranos, a few from the Lio Kaiser set) that I all found below mediocre even for the time when they were made...this was a pleasant surprise. The figure was well worth the price.

So, yes, TFC has made some shit figures in the past, but the last comparable figure they made, standalone, size and price, was very good.

Dang, just discovered this thing today and I love the way it looks. At first I didn't realize it was from a manga and thought it was just an original design, but it's still rad. This is definitely the aesthetic and design philosophy I wish Transformers used more often: Realistic vehicle, dramatic mech design for robot mode-- I mean, that's what the original Diaclone figures were.

$200 isn't cheap though, so I might wait around to see if it gets cheaper, or if they make more figures from this manga later (are there other mechs in it?)

You must be new to message boards. Everyone left comments on official TT MP and their party prices. I didn't know it was a thing to not let someone post displeasure at something....I lied, I do know it's a thing to complain about someone complaining.

Well the pricing at US sellers does make the $160 at Asian retailers look more appealing. If the preorders last a while I may try to save up and order from them. It’s still pricey though.

It looks good. But, I just want to point out the problem. This seems to sell for around a similar price to their tactical, nuclear commander, and likely their megatron. You gotta ask if this is as good as those

I mainly want this guy to go with my Studio Series figures. It reminds me a lot of Breakaway. But yeah $200 is pretty steep, idk if I can justify it at that price, even though I want it

I think the bottom-right one is just plain copying from Macross...

Are they branching out into concept/fictional designs? Just do an Su-57 if they want more "cool new modern stealths".

Dang that looks solid. Just got my preorder in at ShowZ. If it was Bandai I wouldn’t blink twice at $160 so I’m fine with TFC asking for that.

Next to soundwave, his knees are pretty bent and the obvious a stance. I want to be it next to mp starscream because I thinkba seeker is a good comparison and this type of construction appears to be higher end compared to most transformers.

    tons of unnecessary diecast parts.

and yeah....so aren't these guys known for their shampoo bottle plastic quality as well?

not trying to bash on it but those 2 qualities won't necessarily make this figure a god one.

Unless after all these years they just decided to completely change their model on how they make their product.

Hasn't pretty much everybody but Flametoys and Fanstoys gotten away from adding diecast parts these days? Or does MMC use Diecast? Not sure since I haven't bough any MMC stuff since Feral Rex.
