Would love to see Barrage, Mindwipe, Brainstorm, Sureshot, and their buddies go dimension hopping.

    Dear Hasbro,

I'd like to believe you have someone browsing these boards to get a sense of what fans want. As a life-long fan, I know I can't speak for everyone out there, but here are four of my top 4 most-wanted Transformers that I believe would sell very well for you:

    1) Machine Wars Soundwave (remold from Earthrise Doubledealer)

This should be an easy one! I humbly request that you remold the bird mode into a bat mode to pay homage to BW Soundwave. And the fact he can hold tapes, it would be a triple homage in one! Please please please make this one for us!

    2) The Grand Maximus Pretender Shell (Unreleased Waverider POTP remold)

Okay, so we didn't meet the pre-order limit for Grand Maximus. However, since most of us G1 fans never had the opportunity to get this one back in the day, if you made one to sell on your Pulse website, it would sell like hotcakes. Whether you make a big shell for Cerebros (preferred) or even just repainted a POTP Pretender (Waverider) to go with a Cog repaint in Grand Max colors, the fandom would be eternally grateful.

    3) Victory Saber

I understand that this one's not easy because you'd need an all-new mold of Star Saber and Victory Leo, but we need one that sizes well with Generations/WFC figures. Commander Class. I'd love to see you remake all the figures from Victory, but we gotta start somewhere! ;)

    4) "Fire Guts" God Ginrai (repainted from POTP God Ginrai and Godbomber)

Here's another easy repaint, and a perfect candidate for a Pulse pre-order. Please make sure to include his Apex armor (Godbomber). I'd like this mold in different colors so that I can display him as a distinct, separate character from Optimus Prime. A "Knight" of Cybertron.

That's it! If you're still with me, thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I realize you probably can't do them all, but if you only could do one... #1 is my pick!

Fellow TF fans: feel free to post your most-wanted Transformers in this thread as well! Maybe someone at Hasbro will hear us and make one or more of the characters on our wish lists!

Can't find any predictions thread, so I'll just post a few thoughts I had here, assuming the current storyline keeps unfolding.

-Next trilogy focuses on Sunbow seasons 1-2
-More Optimus & Megatron figures; possible various iterations of them like Machine Wars or G2
    -Windblade may show up
-Humans as lower-price packs(like Battlemasters or Core class)
-Broadside will be a Commander somewhere in the trilogy
-Constructicons, Insecticons and remaining Dinobots(after SS86 gets done) in first part
-Remaining Earth modes of the season 1 bots(Hound, Sideswipe, etc), proper Deluxe Brawn
-Parts 2-3 will have Sunbow accurate Aerialbots, Stunticons, Protectobots, and Combaticons scattered about
-New Blitzwing, new Blaster, new versions of the rest of season2 Minibots(sans Pipes, Warpath, etc)
-New Skids, new Roadbuster, new Perceptor, new Elita-1's team, no combining

For each one I get wrong, I shall hear from fellow forumites "I thought you said this would happen"-fashion, and I shall concede to them humbly. Probably.

Why would they go back to G1 Seasons 1-2 AGAIN? I’d much rather they do another hybrid line composed of G1 87-90, Beast Wars, Car Robots and starting to get into UT.

Yeah, one would think they need to start pushing forward past 1987 and finish the 1988 guys. They can certainly go back and give redos to the ones they missed (deluxe Windcharger, Gears, 85-86 missing Minibots and the DELUXE INSECTICONS) but I hope they do another Kingdom where we have (late) G1 and Armada/Energon/Cybertron characters interacting. The name reuses aren’t an issue because WFC already did the G1 versions of man of the characters (Wheeljack, Smokescreen, Cyclonus, Blurr, Thrust, etc) so there’s no confusion of having the same names on the pegs.

What if a trilogy where characters from others universes become G1 ? I mean, something like Barricade in Siege but more spectacular

    Examples:
    -Movie Blackout
-Animated Safeguard (Obviosly, with the two members that form him)
    -Robots in Disguise Strongarm
    -Prime Knock Out
    -Cyberverse Wildwheel
    - A lot of versions Bulkhead

This ought to be posted in here:
So I'd say there's a decent chance we won't be seeing G1 as a driving force in the line, hopefully not until the 40th anniversary in 2024. That would be the third part of the next trilogy.

Because the WFCT was the mark of a "retelling of the Transformers story", Sunbow has consistently been cited as the main inspiration for the WFCT, and the unified scale is based on Sunbow scale sheets. We have in the timeline:

Siege: The last days of the war on the planet Cybertron, before the Autobots and Decepticons retreat on The Ark and Nemesis respectively.

Earthrise: The time in space during the transition between Cybertron and Earth. Added in are where the Autobots and Decepticons encounter Mercs and Quintessons.

Kingdom: The Autobots and Decepticons finally crashland on Earth and are dormant. This is when the Beast Wars happen. Added in is time travel shenanigans involving Rodimus Prime's and Galvatron's crews traveling back to meet the Maximals and BW Predacons.

The next phase of the timeline is when the Autobots and Decepticons wake up and the crap on Earth happens. That's why they'll do seasons 1-2. And it isn't "again", Hasbro hasn't redone many Sunbow characters in CHUG. Classics Prime isn't Sunbow, RtS Jazz isn't Sunbow, the Prime Wars Combiners including PotP Dinobots aren't Sunbow, etc. And none have been in scale till this time. It's IMHO the perfect time to revisit Sunbow seasons 1-2 again in the toyline - and I think Hasbro agrees with me.

Feel free to disagree, but this is a prediction, and I will have "I told you so" rights if it comes to pass, as I already do for the WFCT scale(Ironhide, Astrotrain, Cliffjumper, etc), characters(Ironworks, Barricade), and transformation(Springer).

Props though to @Verno for predicting Beast Wars stuff in 2021. Cheers, mate! \o/

Would buy them all on-sight, NGL. I'd LOVE that.

Aye, there's a big chance that it isn't G1, as I highly suspect that the "Sunbow retelling" was John Warden's doing, and he's gone. But only time will tell.

Cyberverse Meteorfire could be a great addition !

Well, I guess that is a great chance to see re-reveal Armada Optimus Prime

I think it's time to send a lot of e-mails to Hasbro and Takara with this idea

The line I'd like to see would be a GI Joe vs Transformers line where we have little Joe figures, and the Transformers are all Joe and Cobra vehicles. We've seen designs for this before, and we've reached the point where 3rd party companies are starting to do it.

Yoo- *remembers how much Titan Class Figures cost* DAMN IT! WHY MUST I LOVE HIS DESIGN SO MUCH!

I can see them starting to use the Unicron Trilogy. Though we're lousy with potential Titan Class choices for that. While I don't see another Unicron anytime soon with the Haslab one, we could get new versions of Energon Omega Supreme, King Starscream, Primus, Tidal Wave, or even a three pack of Armada Optimus, Jetfire, and Overload.

And Prime and his add ons are something I think they'd need to make sure to do. Pant's Prime was an interesting concept, but had lousy articulation in combined mode, and it'd be very interesting to see it with articulation. And the vehicle modes all hooked together just looks great, with Prime, his trailer, Overload hitched to the back of the trailer carrying Jetfire.

Also the Minicons would work nicely for our small cheap figures who interact with everything bigger.
Yeah, that's a no brainer. I'm not sure how easy it'd be to fit a bat into the space the bird head goes in, but I can see it working. Though you'd probably want to remold the wings too. Or give him a Lazerbeak homage head.
OK, we KNOW that Hasbro was thinking about this a few years back. He was in the POTP leader class figure poll, and the Evolution Gimmick was clearly perfect for his own combining gimmick.

Just don't use the IDW characterization please.
Yeah, it really is a no brainer. I probably wouldn't be able to fit it into my budget, but hey, somebody is gonna be happy.

Could go either way, honestly. If the Beasts in Kingdom sell well, we could be seeing more of them. If not... anyone’s guess, really.

    All of my yes.

Lines are usually planned a couple years in advance, so Kingdom won't have any influence on 2022. I think the next few years are going to be post-Sunbow G1 and/or AEC. More Beast Wars wont come for a couple years after Hasbro analyzes Kingdom sales.

Not only would it be appropriate to see Armada in the next trilogy, but we already have a quasi-credible rumor that a new Tidal Wave might be coming soon. I wouldn't bet against a heavy UT presence in 2022.

I cannot see Hasbro revisiting the G1 seasons 1 to 4 cast again after Kingdom because of how a lot of them already resemble their Sunbow models a lot especially in the WFC trilogy. Sure one can make the argument that most of the G1 combiners and headmasters need more G1 accurate bodies but even then how many times can we revisit them back to back before it does more damage to the Generations line then good? It's one thing to revisit characters that didn't get a more Sunbow accurate design to begin with, but it's another to revisit a character that already did a good job on that. I mean really how can you improve upon ER Optimus Prime when the mold already did a lot to improve upon the past G1 updates he's gotten? I don't think it's worth it.

I'm in the camp where I think it's best that Hasbro keeps on doing the Kingdom method where it's a mixture of different eras. I mean sure we'll still get G1 updates but it'd be rather reserved for those from the later G1 years such as Euro G1 and Victory. If there's going to be revisiting of the 84-87 cast I hope at the very least they focus on ones that haven't got an actual definitive G1 update yet.

Zzzzz. No more Gen1 for the foreseeable. You can argue all you want about why you think it makes logical sense, but they’ve done enough of the season 1-2 cast over the past five years and they don’t need to do any more. Something new please.

This speculation isn’t out of the realm of possibility. The cynical side of me continues to firmly believe that Kingdom is just a simple blip on the radar. Once it concludes, I fully expect Hasbro to go back to “business as usual” and give us yet another take on the G1 cast. Anything else will be a major surprise.

The only thing I’m having trouble figuring out is how people will get excited for it. I have a hard time believing fans, outside of the hardcore G1 fans, will be excited to see the exact same characters/designs on the shelves yet again.

However, if Hasbro does do something different in 2022, I hope it’s something from the UT. I know it’s not exactly the most beloved piece of Transformers media, but the designs are just so interesting. And I really want to get my hands on that Armada Optimus that was shown sometime ago.
