I cancelled god neptune too. I cant ship it to office to hide from my wife.

 

I guess since we are talking about it, I’m keeping mine. I have the original, so I’m looking forward to displaying the new version with them. Plus those colors just look phenomenal, in my opinion.

But I respect the people canceling. Honestly, too many people just buy out of fear of missing out, so realizing you don’t need this and moving on is not a bad thing at all.

 

He's awesome looking. I feel people will regret missing out, but to each their own.

 

My wife ordered Unicron for herself. So that left me free to splurge.

 

Yeah, fortunately I’ve stayed busy despite the pandemic. But if you have to cut something, those are certainly good reasons for sticking with God Neptune. I still have no idea where she’s going to put him when she gets him.

Put me in the camp of waverers as well. I really wanted to believe that they were gonna look like the promo pics, but the twitter pictures and the photos of that hobby show make them appear to be more of a flat white, rather than a nice pearl grey. And I doubt that’s just the lighting.

 

Man I can’t wait for him. I have the original and they’re a beautiful set. This one more so. And he’ll look great with the other 20+ combiners I own.

Welp, I caved and finally got this guy on pre-order from TFsource. I'm hoping that Transform Dream Wave does a white version of their upgrades so I can have the combined mode taken care of. Whatever else the big guy is missing, I'll just design and produce in-house, but he looks pretty much complete from what I can tell except for missing the white matrix.

 

Wait... what? Isn't your wife supposed to discourage you from spending the family savings on toy robots? Who is this strange deviant?  

 

I can't decide on whether or not to cancel my pre-order for this set.

On one hand it's Beast Wars, so I want to support it, but on the other hand, after handling the Seacons, I know the figures don't do anything for me. Guess I better figure it out soon though, as they're released this month right?

 

Unless they’re like the Seacons and Super Megatron and get delayed by Pulse due to the slow boat.

 

Well...I ordered my set from TCP, and my Super Megatron is scheduled to arrive to me tomorrow, so I'm not counting on a delay to give me more thinking time.  

 

I got my Super Megatron from TCP as well (great figure!). The price with tax at HP was about the same as the TCP price so I did that. God Neptune was more... maybe that’s why I used HP?

almost $200 with tax at HP.. $215 at TCP. Well crap.. for $15 I should switch. I spend more than $15 on a pizza...

 

Yeah, he's $15 more at TCP, but I order from there so I can pay off my pre-orders as soon as I put them in.

I just haven't with this set yet, and it's not because I don't have the funds.  

 

Her collection is actually larger than mine. And not limited to Transformers. So my spending is rather quaint in comparison.
