Part of why I find Grimlock so fascinating. He has a mouthplate and a visor, and so he's not very expressive in robot mode. But in Dino mode he more than makes up for it!

It's really something that I feel figures of any type, Transformers, Figuarts, etc, look over.

I hate to indirectly toot my own horn, but just to show a physical example, this Chromedome custom that @javaco created through my commission.

Even if it's just the eyes, you can still do a lot with a face.

DUDE FUCK YES. As someone who grew up with that blue son of a bitch, it would be the most wholesome full-circle comeback if ANYONE out there could make a Thomas face or two for Astrotrain.



Though if that does happen, we cannot ignore this gem of a face to follow suit.

 

Blitzwing must be much harder to make, it was announced first but AT is already shipping!

They did a full re-design on it, as they werent happy with the results. But this is why it is coming after AT. I think in the end, this is for the best, as new design looks much better than old one for Blitzwing. Same with Trailbreaker, new design looks much better. It does sux for those having put a preorder for it with some money down a few years ago... I personally now prefer putting PO down for once painted prototypes are shown, means it is much closer to release and final design.

 

Tfs changed the release date to April 2021 I wonder how legit this is.

I just bought one off of Ebay. I tried buying one off of TFS Express, but I didn't realize that the option I selected was for making a preorder payment. It went through like an order last night only to be cancelled and refunded this morning. That cancellation does show their honesty though.

 

I thought I had a preorder secured with TF Source months ago but now I can't seem to find it. Might've forgotten to actually checkout my cart like a dummy. Now on the lookout for a safe place to order.

 

Yeah, I bought one from a well-rated Chinese eBay seller who’s been vetted by TFW members. Hopefully it turns out OK, but you never know.
