That is really awesome! I skipped most of TR, so now its time for me to backtrack!

 

I don’t know, I’ve only seen Hardhead’s robot mode, Chromedome’s alt mode, and P/CP’s robot mode.

TR/LG is the only line I regret skipping (thanks to AOE being so bad I stopped being remotely interested in Transformers till Siege and SS), but I’ve been steadily collecting bits and pieces of LG back. Really happy that some of the highlights from the line are accessible once again. I paid 60-70 for LG Misfire earlier this year and I’m not very proud of it...

 

I would definitely drop $60 on LG Misfire in a heartbeat considering the prices they're going for.

 

Ah, okay. How do decoes of Hardhead and Chromedome compare to both the standard TR/LG ones?

 

Yeah, I sadly didn't get back into the TF game until mid-POTP so I missed out I most of this stuff, and Punch was just too much of a pain in the ass to get.

Something tells me we may see the Target masters again. Just a feeling.

 

Chromedome looks identical, but Hardhead has a few differences on the chest: his abdomen has a black autobot logo on it, and his shoulders have smaller logos too. The biggest difference is his crotch. His taint is painted silver with red in the center, and yellow triangles on the left and right. His thighs have silver stickers on it. The head is the same as the LG release, color and sculpt wise. Like I’ve said, the base plastic colors seem to be from the Hasbro version. Overall, if you’ve got him in the original run or have the LG version, I don’t think you’re missing much.

 

Thanks, good to know! I don't have any of them, that's why I hope that most of the others have their Hasbro heads.

Given that fact about P/CP, hopefully this little subline does well enough to earn another wave or 2 and they hit the near impossible to find figures. Perceptor would compliment all the Movie characters nicely and Misfire and the Jumpstarters, I know a lot of us never even sniffed them.

 

Well I didn’t decide I wanted a Punch until after he was long gone from Amazon, so this is good news for me! I’ll take him and Weirdwolf please and thank you. I do wish they came with their Legends drone vehicles, though.

 

All I can say is that I checked on it at least three separate times and each time it was sold out. Now maybe I missed the restock notices since those tend to be hit and miss with Amazon, but if it was restocked after the initial sell-out then I personally missed it. Admittedly I stopped collectin half-way through Titans Return so I was only partially paying attention to PotP since the only things I wanted were Predaking and Punch.

 

Does Punch/Counterpunch come with a rebirth/cartoon head? Or the same as was released during potp?

Cool for those who want then, but I'm kind of bummed that this means we're not getting better versions of Chromedone and P/CP anytime soon.

There are some people who don't like his hollow legs and were miffed by the shoulder joint issue of the first batch.

 

Yeah. I love the potp p/cp mold. Only thing I could see improved is ankle tilt articulation.

I am a smidge upset that chromedome (and other headmasters) aren’t getting updated versions tho since their articulations are lacking (no waist or ankle). Sculpt isn’t too bad but some proportions could’ve been better.
