Seriously! I would LOVE if they did that specifically, then did the whole set again for the "Drago" side.
Different faces or not, just all the different colors could sell these to me. Easy decos are the differing tones of bone, stone, and chrome... but being that "powers" are already a part of TF's, these could have decos to indicate specific elemental abilities associated, a la Voltron and the Dinozords from MMPR. SO much homage potential.

Really like this concept. New concept like this is what moves the brand forward. And that leaked photo of a hardcore G1 accurate Kingdom Warpath wearing bone armor parts of this guy, was just the most weirdly wonderful combination. It just somehow...works..

 

There's a Predacon symbol here, but being a Fossillizer isn't for a specific faction as it just continues the similar gimmick of the Weaponizers and Modulators.

 

Very intresting! I\'ll probably be in for this guy. I like is alt-mode.

 

Hasbro should try to market these things to museum gift shops. 

 

I have a cool story made up in my head that these fossilizers are agents left behind by the maximals and preds to keep tabs on the great war when the 84 bots wake up. They can affect the war in small ways to work for either sides favor while not changing the timeline drastically. It's not perfect fanon but it's what I'll keep in my head until we learn the actual story behind these guys.

 

Still debating on whether these guys are going to be Protoforms that scanned skeletons and didn't add skin to their beast modes, or if they'll be skeletons reformatted by the Allspark...

I think I'm leaning more towards the second one.

Fossilized beast modes is such a rad concept. I hope we get enough Fossilizers that I can make a museum display of them.

Ok. +1 for being a Predacon, but -1000 for being creepy af. Hugely HARD pass unless someone ends up snagging this for me as a gift. And then it’s gonna be hidden somewhere where I can’t see it. Seriously, that robot mode creeps me right out.
